  • Gundam Battle Operation 2 Gameplay featuring the Gelgoog Marine Commander type on the tropical desert match in 450. Where as my tristan video was about supporting a mobile frontline in a necessarily close ranged gen, this match is about supporting the firing line from a notably ranged general, The Gelgoog Marine commanders advantages are it's continous fire capacity and long range primary, providing high rate of focus fire sniper shots or continous suppressing and build stunning uncharged barrages. But what's important here is less the marine commanders weapons and more so the positioning. Utilising key points on the map and monitoring the enemy position, we do not play strictly passive, moving around to support our team under pressure, and also moving forward when needed to secure decisive advantage and prevent the enemy from comfortably moving their own frontline ontothe mountain unchallenged. Doing so allows our team and our supports a commanding view of the enemy team should they attempt to push and places ourselves in the capacity to focus on enemy raids where possible. Contributing our build stun to harrassing the raids and preventing them from cleanly breaking into melee without punishment. Again this means allowing the supports on our team to 'outshine us' per say but our efforts were key to supporting a ranged dominated map, once again securing low deaths whilst still actively contributing to the team. Hopefully this match provides an easy to understand example of the role a suit like the Marine commander can play within a team, rather than simply a match where the enemy runs into it's MGs for a pretty scorecard.
