A new software update came out. Version 2.0.0. Now, it allows you to connect partybox 320 to 110, 310, and 710. Probably it is the same for the 120 and ultimate. I don,t have an older speaker to test. But I just wanted to mention it here for anyone wondering.
Bruh, I just upgraded my 110 to the 320 after trying to talk myself out of it for a couple months. At first I was like, I don't need this thing, until I hit . The bass is crazy and the sound is more crisp than my friend's 310. If I ever use lights those are wild too. Just get it.
The removable battery was long overdue. Goes without saying it’s easier than ripping apart the speaker to put in new packs or cells. Does the battery charge from the speaker while connected to AC or does it only charge when separated from the speaker. I assume USB-C charging externally?
I’m not saying anyone is wrong but I’m another video I heard that the 310 had a little bit more bass but more muddy sounding and the 320 was a little bit louder. I appreciate these videos I love to do a lot of research before buying something, keep it up
With several reviews and differences of the reviewer's hearing, there are some margin of errors about how they interpret the sound quality. That is why it is always better if you have access to both of these speakers in a store nearby where you can hear their performance face to face.
@@froilanvillafuerte4107 yes 100% percent right but I try to go with the most realistic comparison video out that seems most logical way of test with a decent thoughts on sound quality which for me validates enough for me to say I prefer this over that and to me what I told is what I heard that is my formed opinion on the 320 to me it’s an upgrade on cosmetics and slight in sound quality but not huge in sound and listening your right but I think for me until I see another reviewer that says otherwise then I’ll change my mind like I see a comparison from like Oluv’s Gadgets or something the true reviewer of speakers would be great his microphone gives the most realistic impression of sound it’s not even funny but anyways maybe when the 329 comes out in stores I’ll see how it sounds or something
The partybox 320 and 120, they probs wont sound as good as the 310 and 110, depending on how long you've owned them for, the subs and Tweeters wouldve broken in, so it hit a point where not only does the battery last longer but the subs snd Tweeters sound better have more bass, but if you unbox both brand new theirs a difference, once both models break in well atm its hitting 39-38 at a low on my club 120 soon in 6 months time to a year could hit 34 maybe in its 20, the boombox 3 could be the same
I mean I have a charge 5 which sounds good, not the best for low bass I had a sound bar sound blaster katana v1, had a 5inc subwoofer very impressive sound for 350 bucks aus, club 120 here is 499, stage 320 749, but this thing would shake the walls had it for over 8 months bass started to sound better but at volume 35 was very loud sounded good 42/50 the it would start to be loudness, the bass you could tell was increasing but it was to much for the small sub, it had a bounce bubbly sound kinda like I don't know how to explain it but it was to powerful, has great surround sound, small sub but it thumps the house, got a partybox 110 which was louder has more bass I used my mates 110, wanted one but saw the 120 released here August the 1st, shiped here the day it come out $520, has more bass again Its louder by alot, battery is shit though but should last longer after a certain amount of charges,
I need help to make a decision. I have a jbl partybox encore. I love the sound but i want more bass. the new pb320 sounds amazing but the pb310 doesnt sound as good in the highs in my opinion. But my encores mids and highs still sound really good. since 310s go for really cheap now that the new one is out, do you think picking up a 310 and pairing it with my encore would be a good choice? I feel like i would get the low end that im looking for but also keep the good sound signature from the encore that the 310 lacks. (not planning to play above 80% encore volume / 50-60% 310 volume. I know the encore distorts at high volume) Thoughts?
Attention : 2 modeles différents ! pour toi encore + 310 = le mode party, n'est pas le meme fonctionnement que le mode vrai mode TWS, il y a juste une recopie du son : pas de stéréo. Tu devrais choisir 2x 110 et jumeler en TWS selon ce que tu veux sonoriser comme endroit
I know it's a late reply but I always discourage everyone from pairing different JBL speakers together. They will sound very unbalanced and you will have to adjust each volume separately. Also you won't get stereo separation when connecting two different model speakers, which is the main reason why you would want two of them. Always go for the same model when planning to connect them, so either encore + encore or 310 + 310. Don't mix them.
I am so upset that this does not have the 12v port. I have been using the 310 as my car stereo for the past 3 years, and I planned to upgrade when the 320 came out, but now I don't think I'm going to upgrade.
I have a 310 and I love it, but this 320 looks amazing. For the price would it be better to get a 320 or just go for the 710 which is really close on price?
I just bought another 310 even though they had the 320 in stock just because I wanted them to match. I have zero complaints with the 310. The 320 is definitely cool but the 310 was cheaper and now I have a matching pair
I like the 320 but I have 3 jbl 310s. So for me it’s 3 jbl 310 vs the 320. Not worth it for me. I’ll wait till jbl comes out with a PARTYBOX that blows the 310 out of the water in every way
I have 2 310 and sounds great. Does the auracast support mic transfer to another 320, because the 310 TWS work only for music not the mic? Thanks for the answer.
What's the battery life at max volume 100? I'm trying to see if I need to buy another battery or a few batteries. Can you do a video on the battery life at max volume for the 120, 320?
Right now the main challenge for the 310 vs the 320 is cost to performance ratio, so value. I got both, and at this point i am returning the 320. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE IT BETTER, everything in this video is true, it sounds cleaner, more open the whole presentation is a refinement in every aspect. HOWEVER, you can get the 310 through some outlets (eBay, Mercari, i saw it on sale a few weeks ago at BB for around $379) so it's not exactly half but for around 40-45% less than the 320. Is the sound 40% better on the 320? No, but not everything is sound, the whole thing is better, but if sound is what matters to you, you won't be able to justify the price difference, especially if you already have a 310, and if you don't have it, the 310 is still worthy considering. If money is no issue, go for the 320, it is better in every aspect.
Thing is tho the 320 will last a life time especially since the battery is removable the 310 battery isn't removable and I can have extra batterys and never have to plug it up for charge.
I have 310 and I wouldn't advise to buy it at this point. 320 is just better in every way for just a little bit more. Also Bluetooth 5.4 and Aura Cast is a game changer.
I honestly think the improved version of JBL app for 320 and Aura Cast feature alone is worth the uprade. No longer have to daisy chain multiple speakers together.
You forgot to mention that one of the design features that the 320 no longer has is the ability to lay on its side with the removal of the orange rubber feet. It's nice for traveling with or storing the speaker, or maybe lying it down on a picnic table.
JBL gave up on this idea entirely moving forward. Probably because almost nobody uses these speakers horizontally due to it's asymmetrical design when lying down. To me it's a win - why keep a feature that maybe 5% of people are gonna use - instead we got a much better, cleaner looking speaker.
So when reading on a JBLs spec sheet for both speakers and notice that the 310 has a 175mm driver when the 320 is only 165mm, So Does the 320 Really Have More BASS??
Auracast and partyboost speakers can only be paired with the app, not with the physical button and I was able to do that with all my partyboost speakers and my xtreme 4 Try doing the same with the PartyBox, might work as well As for the many people saying the pb 320 has less bass than the 310, a software update later may fix that "issue" and improve more its sound
At the minute 7:57 you help me a lot to decide which JBL should I buy between 310-320 🙏🏻thank you, and also with the battery changing, but the hole video is very informative, you gained a new subscriber
how deep and powerful is the sub when it comes to actual "bass music" though? like Festival Trap, Electro House, Aggro Dubstep? like if i put on some Ganja White Night, am i gonna "feel" it?
My main problem with daisy chain with the 310 was that the second speaker sounded waaaay lower in volume...literally unusable volume as an aux source. It should provide a similar volume signal for the chain, amplifying it if necessary to reach a standard aux volume or something. Is this fixed on the 320?
What’s crazy is if you read the info on the app it basically says you can connect the 120/320 to the older tws models idk maybe they need more time to upgrade. I was only gonna buy the 120 if I can connect to my 310
Speakers should be HEARD AND NOT SEEN! what a waste they should have invested in more sound features instead of fukin' lights honestly are people going to watch those lights probably not for long. JBL needs to get serious about SQ and forget about their stupid lights. Having lit control panels is a good thing but the rest... ditch the cheesy light show and put the money into sound quality better speakers, EQ, amplifier, or battery.
For streaming music, this beast can't be beat. But for karaoke....it sucks! It just sounds terrible. I thought I could utilize this speaker in my karaoke gigs. But it just cant hack live vocals well. I just ended up playing my music through the 320, and still using my Bose s1 pros separately for the vocals. It's not a deal breaker. I will still purchase a 2nd 320 to get that stereo effect on the music, but so far the Bose s1 pros lead the way for vocal performance.
If I connect two 320, even the mic connected in one of them is going to work on the other one? And if I have two speakers connected can I have 4 mics working at the same time on the 2 speakers?
Just got a 320 (Best Buy has it for $500 until July 29) after owning the 310 since release date and there’s a software update that allows you to pair the 310 and 320. I think it allows to pair all the older models (110, 310, 710, encore) with the newer ones but I’m not too sure. I took forever to figure it out but once you update the 320, make sure to turn both of them off and back on and you’ll be able to pair them together through the party box app. I was considering selling my 310 but I love that speaker and everyone keeps lowballing me on FB marketplace so I’d rather keep both and be the annoying neighbor with the crazy loud speakers. The 320 is a bit lighter and more compact but the lights and everything look really cool! I’m also planning on getting an xtreme 4 for when I go tubing/hiking and that way I’ll have two of those removable batteries.
@@harrykuo2573 sorry for the late reply, just saw this! I’ve only used them twice together and the bass on the 310 sounds a little stronger than on the 320. I think Best Buy had even dropped the 320 to around $450 this past week so for that price it’s a steal. When I pair them together, I noticed I can only control the volume for one of them (whichever one I connect to first) through the phone and I have to go to the other one manually to higher/lower the volume. Maybe they’ll fix this with more software updates but who knows. Overall, both are solid but I feel like the ability to just swap batteries on the 320 makes it the easier choice for me if I were to only have one of them. Also, the lights on the 320 look WAYY cooler than on the 310
Far too expensive… A couple 4 inch Speakers 40 bucks… A couple tweeters 20 bucks A plastic case come on two dollars… Miscellaneous amplifier which is cheap and pots switches etc. $80… The battery the most expensive $80… There you have it now that is what it's worth so double that and that's what you should probably pay. So about $420-ish is about right Canada they're selling for over $699 And that is there sale price 13% off… Americans just to the exchange it's way overpriced
Dude, thanks for Your review. Even watching it on the phone you can feel 320 has a better clearer sound over 310. I went to the local shop and asked to play 320. Yes indeed 320 sounds better. I will not go into more details as pretty much everyting is covered in your review. Owning 310 decided to sell it after 9 month of use. Sold it yesterday got a decent price for it. A price here in East Europe for a new 310 is about 400 euros and 320 is 480 euros. So it is not much of the difference. And order is placed should get a new 320 tomorrow
How deep bass does JBL Partybox Stage 320 have? JBL Partybox 310 has 32 Hz maximum bass extension. If JBL Partybox Stage 320 doesn't have at least 35 Hz, I won't buy it.
Hi, can I use this speaker while it's plugged in or do I need to remove the battery first? Genuinely asking. Have a nice day and thanks in advance! ❤ Btw, I bought this speaker because of this review. Lol.
I personally don't see any reason in upgrading from the 310 to the stage 320 simply because there is not much of an upgrade in terms of specifications in regards to the new speaker simply because they are both rated at 240 Watts RMS they are both the same level of loudness in decibels the power rating is exactly the same you're getting the same level of output in both of these speakers therefore I don't see any reason to upgrade since it is not any louder than the party box 310 for this reason I would stick to the 310 and would not recommend upgrading to the stage 320 literally all that JBL has done here is that they have made an exact replica duplicate of the same speaker but just rebranded it with a different title name so instead of JBL partybox 310 they have rebranded the name of the speaker to JBL partybox stage 320 that is the only difference in terms of both speakers in comparison it's just a rebrand of the same speaker with the same specifications so for this reason I would recommend not upgrading from The JBL partybox 310 to The JBL partybox stage 320 now I was expecting a lot better from JBL in regards to releasing a new speaker I would have expected that the new speaker would have been much more powerful in terms of the speaker wattage in RMS and I would have expected this new speaker to be a lot louder then the 310 but I guess not it doesn't surprise me with most of these Bluetooth speakers aren't even barely powerful enough to cover an outdoor party or a large outdoor area The JBL party box 310 is pretty loud for indoor use and indoor parties but I definitely do not think it's loud enough for outdoor parties to cover a large outdoor area simply because 240 Watts RMS is very low powered for an outdoor rated speaker or for a speaker that claims to be powerful simply because outdoor speakers require a lot more wattage in RMS to cover a large area for outdoor parties therefore I would rate these speakers very low in terms of their power volume output and performance I would most likely suggest that you get a portable PA speaker system for outdoor use that has a built-in rechargeable battery and has Bluetooth and USB playback because these types of PA systems are a lot more powerful than these JBL partybox speakers simply because they come with powerful amplifiers and a high level amount of watts in RMS therefore portable PA systems are more suited for outdoor parties than these miniature small low powered JBL party box speakers but anyways this is my personal thoughts and comments on this speaker let me know what you guys think in regards to my opinions on the speakers in the comments below.
Maybe it was different in person, but from my perspective the 310 had cleaner highs and less mid-range shouting. 500 hz through 5K hz on the 320 just seemed messy. But to be upfront, I had a hard time knowing when you switched between the speakers and that's not usually the case! It also could be the video itself especially not knowing what mic you are using. I did have a nice set of JBL cans on my head....Buuuut, hese "old" ears that have been through many years of DJing, doing sound engineering and sound stage set up for small events up to working for Disney's Pleasure Island back in the day etc. I'd like to hear them in person. I did a set of 310's during a blowout sale (Probably due to the 320 coming!) for $369 each, brand new! There definitely isn't enough difference in 310 vs 320 to walk away from that kind of price difference!

Auracast and partyboost speakers can only be paired with the app, not with the physical button and I was able to do that with all my partyboost speakers and my xtreme 4
Try doing the same with the PartyBox, might work as well
As for the many people saying the pb 320 has less bass than the 310, a software update later may fix that "issue" and improve more its sound
Yes! They fixed the wheels! Yay!
I just looked on etsy and I brought some similar wheels for my 310.
@@david029014genius idea thanks
I've been waiting for this review for a while. This will be the first Partybox I'll be getting
you're really going to like it
Me too! Just bought mine today !
Does it lose bass at max volume? Compared to the 310?
Are they going to release partybox 720?
希望720有行動電池和710連接立體聲🎉🎉🎉
Cant find anywhere the price of the replacement battery yet.. is there any info about it ?
Thank u for the review ❤
I can’t find any info or anywhere to buy it either.
I love my 310! I bump it at work every day!
sir do you have any idea or link whare to buy extra battery extra for jbl 320 ?
At the minute 7:57 you help me a lot to decide which JBL should I buy between 310-320 🙏🏻thank you, and also with the battery changing, but the hole video is very informative, you gained a new subscriber
and where can you buy these spare JBL 400 batteries?
Where can you buy the extra batteries? Haven't seen them being on sale yet.....
2months later & still can't find the batteries 🙈
Without any hesitate..buy 310.. u can save lots of bucks ..only for..some more noise..it's not great deal.
Great upgrade on 320 but I'm completely happy with 310 for now
how deep and powerful is the sub when it comes to actual "bass music" though? like Festival Trap, Electro House, Aggro Dubstep? like if i put on some Ganja White Night, am i gonna "feel" it?
I sold my 310 last year (and I regretted badly) and seeing the 320 I might get 2 of them 😁
My main problem with daisy chain with the 310 was that the second speaker sounded waaaay lower in volume...literally unusable volume as an aux source. It should provide a similar volume signal for the chain, amplifying it if necessary to reach a standard aux volume or something. Is this fixed on the 320?
I honestly did not expect 320 to sound this much better. Quite a big improvement overall over 310.
They are the same
@@gwynkoo8890lol...
@@gwynkoo8890 I think the 320 has got more clarity.
@@J.BeetleWHAT IS AI SOUND FACILITY????
Just ordered my 320, on sale for $450.
They lost me by not being able to wirelessly pair a 320 to my 310. I’ll just buy anther 310 I guess. Lame
What’s crazy is if you read the info on the app it basically says you can connect the 120/320 to the older tws models idk maybe they need more time to upgrade. I was only gonna buy the 120 if I can connect to my 310
seulement en daisy chain à mon avis
ils ont fait un modèle qui fait que l'on doit jeter les modeles d'avant, exactement comme les 300 avec les 310
Please do a comparison Soundboks 4 vs PB320 vs Sony XV800/900.
320 vs xv800 is coming. But I have a cold right now. I think I got sick from filming the night shots.
If I connect two 320, even the mic connected in one of them is going to work on the other one? And if I have two speakers connected can I have 4 mics working at the same time on the 2 speakers?
Anyone know if this has input lag via aux? I want to connect my son’s Dj controller. Thanks
do you think they’ll make it possible to wirelessly connect with the 710 etc. with future updates?
Don’t think so, cause they want you to buy their new gen of speakers. But I think the 320 will connect to Xtreme 4
waiting for jbl 310 firmware updates
I have 2/310 2/110 I happy in my car and my home 310 better & 320 . 320 just have light.
Does anybody knows how to change the input source on the new stage 320? On the 310 was a button for that.
Well , the replacement battery is good. But where someone find them ? I cannot find them in the official site of JBL or somewhere else...
310 still has a better sound stage than 320 .. I have two if it and I use them as a headphone 😅
What do you think of the sound between the two speakers
Also, the lights on the 320 look WAYY cooler than on the 310
Is the bass better than 710 now?
obviously not. The 710 has 2 8inch drivers and 800w of power. much more physical power than the 320.
Where can we buy the extra batteries
Try the JBL site maybe ?
Amazon
I don't remember you doing the mic feedback test on your new Partybox 120 video. How's the mic feedback on the 120?
Can you TWS the 320 with 310 now with new update? Thanks
Yes !
I’ll wait for the 720 😂
Far too expensive… A couple 4 inch Speakers 40 bucks… A couple tweeters 20 bucks A plastic case come on two dollars… Miscellaneous amplifier which is cheap and pots switches etc. $80… The battery the most expensive $80… There you have it now that is what it's worth so double that and that's what you should probably pay. So about $420-ish is about right Canada they're selling for over $699 And that is there sale price 13% off… Americans just to the exchange it's way overpriced
Lol. Wtf you on about. Manufacturing costs?
@@soundscaperecordings1111 Yeah Because they're just taking advantage Of their customer.
Love your reviews! 🙌🏼
Feels complete.
The 320 or soundbok Go for outdoor bbq’s , beach days ?
How deep bass does JBL Partybox Stage 320 have?
JBL Partybox 310 has 32 Hz maximum bass extension.
If JBL Partybox Stage 320 doesn't have at least 35 Hz, I won't buy it.

Can you connect them both togteher the 320 with a 110
Wirelessly, no. Only using cables.
Can you connect the 320 to the Xtreme 4 via Auracast?
can the battery be charged without the speaker?
Is difference between sbc and aac huge on these Bluetooth speakers

@@Loupster420I sold my 310 yesterday, tomorow will arrive mi 320😅
How much did yall sell the 310 thinking of selling mine also lol
Hi, can I use this speaker while it's plugged in or do I need to remove the battery first? Genuinely asking. Have a nice day and thanks in advance! ❤
Btw, I bought this speaker because of this review.
Smaller battery??? Jbl is really losing it,they have tons of space to double the battery capacity i don't mind paying a little more
Can you tell me if I can use the 320 with wireless microphones ,the man in the shop said yes but for some reason I have my doubts .
I got my partybox 310 on sale for $350 so im gonna keep it
that's a great price
where you can buy a replaceable battery ? I cannot find everywhere info about that.
The only place ive seen the batteries is on Ebay
