We were finally back behind the scenes but we were besieged by crisis as we had eight players and no goalkeeper for the scheduled kick off time at our mid-season friendly.
Go behind the scenes as the Barnsley Beckham and co resort to dragging people out of a pub, car park and babysitting duties to get a 13-man squad for the delayed kick off against Doncaster side Elite from the Central Midlands League.

We are managed by Terry Simon and we are proud members of the EV2 Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League Premier Division. During the 2022/23 season, Terry led the side to a second place finish, narrowly missing out on becoming champions during a very dramatic final round of fixtures.
We are part of a community-led sports and social association based in Barnsley in the United Kingdom.
The area of Wombwell was the birthplace of Manchester United legend Mark Jones who was sadly killed in the 1958 Munich Air Disaster. He is buried in Wombwell cemetery.
