Thanks for the comparison! You saved me, I almost bought a "3V" bailout on eBay for $180!!! I had to zoom into the picture to catch it; this new clone has an identical pommel.
what i did was stick some tape on the side of the screw thats smooth down and then screw it off after so the tape can have a grip on the smooth sode of the screw as u add tention to the side where u add ur T6-8 to make the motion smoother or replace the part and the washers for something better and thats it. i did it to my clone bailout titanium handles and M390 tanto with royal blue screws
ive noticed that the clone has the bench made R logo a little thick and bot as sharp as the original and the font is not as crisp more like bold and thats how i was able to tell what was what in LA shopping for some knifes
Many brands do not have the flat in the hole the pivot pin rides in with the adjacent flat on the pivot poin that locks it into place. Try this, on the non screw head end, put a drip of thick superglue type adhesive around the pivot head and hit it with an accelerator. This will hold the thru pin long enough to turn it in order to remove the pivot screw. The glue will easily be removed before re-assembly. KnifeMaker
Thanks brotha! Your telling me bro! You should see some of the other Benchmade clones it's getting harder and harder to get tell the difference my dude!
They are getting super crazy! Crazy 29$ clone/real one 255$... that’s crazy! Lol! I love benchmade! There are billions of Chinese and we are not even at the half of billion Mark... we are fucked!
I got the black bailout and by looks and feel is really good. However I sharpened it t @ 17°. It felt sharp as hell but I went to carve on a piece of purple heart and in about 7 regular cuts the blade was toast. The wood is by no means soft but it's wood. My Benchmade Adamas with the cru wear blade will pretty much stay indefinitely sharp with the same wood. I don't think the Chinese one was even steel. Felt more like chinesium. It was folded over in almost a U shape. If the Chinese uses s30v or similar, Benchmade would be in trouble
This is pretty much a Tanto style bugout . I highly recommend my friend. I used to have a ultratech clone and that thing was awesome I can only immagine how good the real microtechs are!
Great video 👍 very informative before I buy my M4 Bailout 🙏 keep up the good content .. do clone comparisons and you could have a good RUclips channel 👌
Side note... 3V steel is actually a really good steel and it comes on an authentic bailout. The M4 comes with different steel. The pummels are correct for the knives the bailout M4 has a glass breaker the authentic bailout it’s like a bottle opener. So yes you are correct the scales are not interchangeable for this reason authentic or not.

Your welcome bud. Thanks for watching!
Thanks brother. Like the others, you saved me from buying a fake on ebay for 100$. Good work!

@@knifelife7777 seriously. It's always best buying from an authorized dealer if you want a benchmade these days.
Where did you find that clone? Ali?
It’s not a bailout 2 clone. It’s a clone of the first bailout with the new scales lol. They fucked it up

17 degrees for an average pocket knife is to low of a bevel angle. the sharper a knife is the less it will hold the edge.
my benchmade bailout and bugout never had a clip with a logo on it! is thaf like a second reproduction or newer one?
loosen the very first T6 body screw next to the pivot. action will improve.
could you update clone link please?
i got a clone bailout, it only slow rolls open
Looks like this bug out might be my next EDC night I just order the Microtech Ultratech S/E OTF Automatic Knife Red CC (3.4" Black) 121-1RD yesterday
This is pretty much a Tanto style bugout . I highly recommend my friend. I used to have a ultratech clone and that thing was awesome I can only immagine how good the real microtechs are!
btw, the clone is $29 and the benchmade nearly $250 last i looked.

Where do I buy this clone
The best reason to not waste your money on overpriced US products is it’s the quickest way to help american citizens with their opioid dependency.😂
Those are 2 different style bailouts... yes one is a clone but it’s a bailout, the other is a M4 bailout.
Side note... 3V steel is actually a really good steel and it comes on an authentic bailout. The M4 comes with different steel. The pummels are correct for the knives the bailout M4 has a glass breaker the authentic bailout it’s like a bottle opener. The 3V Bailout was never offered with the aluminum handle. It being a clone makes it NOT a Benchmade. It's fake. Not a Bailout.
You are right. The clone has been upgraded to V2 it's One on One to the M4 bailout.98%same
