@@yesyes2113 I adjust it accordingly to what I am studying,...when I need to use PC, I just let it run at the background, the sound just motivates me to study and helps me to organize time. When I read a book, I let play the video in front of me and sometimes I glympse at the screen to see Jimmy studying to motivate myself more ;-)

Sitting all day can be a very sedentary life, and I'm sure you need to break the monotony. Are there things you look forward to as a reward between your study sessions as motivation?
I sometimes sit for 8-10 hours with few 10 minute breaks and the thing I'm looking forward the most is to go out and take a walk to get my 8-10k steps in. But that's just me!

I suggest you still use his videos, because they are the best study with me's in my opinion. Keep trying to do the 45 minute sessions - you might have troubling focusing, but you will get better over time if you keep at it. Challenging yourself to a point where you feel uncomfortable will always lead to better results down the road. Also never look at phone etc. during sessions.
It depends per person and on how you are actually recalling the information during the session. If you truly spend the whole duration of the time focusing on what you have learnt then there should be a positive correlation on your recall :) hope that explained some
Active recall is the best way to strengthen the connection between the information and your memory. think out loud, get someone to test you, write things down from memory, use flashcard systems like Anki. Then revise the content in spaced intervals - one day later, 3 days later, a week etc. - to make use of the spacing effect and counter the forgetting curve. Google Spaced Repetition and Active Recall for more detail.
