• 4-HOUR STUDY WITH ME🗼 ...
Long time no see everyone! Today it is the second video of the Tokyo Tower series, for those of you who haven't watched the first video yet, it's better to watch that one first! (Beautiful Tokyo Tower view at Sunset! )
According to your comments and feedback, this video has made the following improvements compared to last time.
① added the white noise of the Cracking Fire. The sound of burning firewood is said to be relaxing and stress relieving, and can also improve study efficiency.
②Tried a different editing style than before. The overall style is relatively simple and minimalistic, because the night scene of Tokyo itself is already very beautiful, so I think there is no need to add fancy effects. Also I tried to make this video in full English. (English speakers there! I want to see you guy’s comment! )
③For the first time, I filmed a video using 8 different camera positions. The library one was also 4 hours long, but I used the same shot from the same camera position repeatedly, but this time every session is unique in this 4 hours.
④Changed the type of music. I personally listen to piano more often, but sometimes I watch Lofi Girl as well. I don't know Lofi very well, so I'm not very confident in my song selection. I hope you guys will like it.
▶︎ This time, we sacrificed our little TALK during the break for the minimalistic editing style, so I put my question here.
I took Sanskrit and Tibetan this semester in order to read ancient Buddhist texts, and has been studying the Sanskrit alphabet today (as you can see in Session 3).

Most times I have difficulty studying for the 25 minutes straight, but once I get going I stick with it even through the 5 minute breaks.. Even if I cant stick to the 25 on 5 minute off structure, this still helps me be more productive than I normally would be and I'm grateful!

Coming back to this just gives me nostalgia on how I tried to resume reviewing for my mechanical engineering licensure exam after 2 months of not reviewing. This is the very video that helped me master the pomodoro technique which led to a lot of build up when it came to managing my time in the long run.
I passed the exam last February 2022, but I somehow still miss the journey I went through to get to it. Listening to this while doing work tasks just makes me wanna go back. Even if the journey was tough, I wouldn't mind going through it a second time.
Aside from the Nostalgic talk, keep up with the videos. I like every single one of them, but this is the one that I'll definitely go to the most.
this is gotta be my favorite video in this platform, not even exaggerating. this video helped me when i'm struggling with pre-college exam anxiety. this helps me get through it and actually study. Now I'm on my second year of college and I still find myself coming back here time to time. You will always be my favorite pomodoro channel.
This actually somehow made studying easier for me. Before, if I ever stop studying, I would take more time than what I actually wanted to, or if I ever start studying, I would not stop until I actually finish, no breaks in between. I would always encounter a slump from time to time.
The sad part is our people don't give much importance to Sanskrit.
It was a delight to see that people around the world are actually studying Sanskrit and that too with this much focus.
Even i never studied Sanskrit for this long.

idk about you guys but for my final math exam for getting into uni i was studying every day and solving problems like 6 hrs at once, some days i would go for 10 hours non-stop without any breaks. For my final biology exam, (i didnt know anything until last week and a half) i studied on the last week and a half like 7 hours only reading and learning from the book without breaks. I would just play with a bottle of perfume and studying at the same time. In the 4th or 5th day of studying from the book, at night, i was trying to sleep... I just repeated in my head the whole book at once hahaha. Idk how, word by word, page by page, whole book in my head. i aced both btw

I never thought that background music and the 25 and 5 technique would work so well for me to get my schoolwork done on time.
I don't know how you do it, but this just *works*! I can spend hours working, and only feel physically tired and sore, even if I'm doing studying! (This stuff works wonders for other things too!) This is a literal life-saver, as I am able to get through my depression-mess and make my surroundings healthier, and helps me get through procrastinating things and getting anxiety from it! just over a year ago, i used this study with me video as the first one i'd ever seen, when i started teaching myself AS physics. it made me the most calm i've ever been whilst studying and i've used your video ever since. i've just finished it again on the evening before my last physics exam and i'm getting weirdly nostalgic. thank you sir- this video has helped me study more effectively than i thought i was capable of. i owe you my physics grade (that's if it's good!)

This is my first time switching my routine of work from home set up since the pandemic started.
I've been used to listen songs that I can sing along while working and having lengthy hours sitting & working without proper breaks. But since I discovered your videos with the calm lo-fi music + break reminders (Pomodoro style) + great view, this is really a game changer.
Also, those little sounds like; flipping book/notebook's page, sound of mug putting over the table, keyboard typing sound, prepping something over the breaks.....
Yesss those little sounds, makes me feel less lonely. Like I feel that I'm not alone, I'm with someone whose working/studying with me.

To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy
Reminder:After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

I studied with my favorite music from my playlist, but I felt that it distracted me so a decied to try to study with this type of music, before I do not like study in this way but now a specially i this channel I like it.
