Flip 6 more portable and lightweight, for the size really good sound, loudness and bass but Charge 5 even more loudness and bass but pretty heavy and battery life is more stable on Flip 6 I think due to the Charge 5s higher power demands especially when the JBL App EQ is on. So, I would say both are great. If you need a power bank of course Charge 5 then though :D
@@srshort2096 Then Charge 5 is better but of course any of the XTREME series speakers would do but I think Charge 5 is a must cuz Flip 6 would drop the bass at these volumes and sound harsh in the high tones

Charge 5 definitely gets louder and retains more bass
