That's not the only problem with this video, switching the speed is unnecessary since windows (and other OS) will pick the right speed anyways. So the chance that this changes anything is highly unlikely especially for the option he selected (2.5GB) since that speed is still not widely used. You're still restricted by the limits of the ethernet ports, cables and ISP.
