They are amazing carbs! Better than Holley 4150s in every way possibly. Plus they look freaking awesome! Stacked side by side on a tunnel ram they just look sinister. Thank you for being the best! 🤘😎🤘
Glad I got to see it carving corners! Still hoping you get a chance to put it on a drag strip at some point. It's always fun to see a timeslip! Great job on the build!
Well... that was some cool camera work!! It's very nice to see you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. It all pays off eventually... maybe not in dollars, but in other benefits - but really it's hard to put a price tag on what I'm sure was some family fun and a few good memories.
Looked like you were steering more with your right foot than that huge wheel. Makes for even more fun. And that sound ! Tain't nuthin' sounds like a big block Mopar....and it's sounding real healthy and happy. Drag about no drags, but your new converter will make it that much better next time. Thanks for the video. In 1970, my Father, who was in the auto biz, gifted me a 68 Satellite Sebring, green/green/green 383-4/TF. I'd had it about a month and one day mentioned putting headers on it. Typical 17 year olds mistake. The next morning I came out and it was gone. It was a temporary setback however, because the next week I bought a red 63 Impala, 427-4/TH400 that was just as fast. I reckon in the end my old man knew what was best...that Satellite was way too nice to hack up.
Even though missing out on the drags was a bit of a bummer, at least you had fun with a car that was gettin' some way better than the last time you had it out! That tunnel ram looks sick as hell!
That was to cool , minimum 3000 stall for convertor, you do have drag radials or slicks for drag strip right? If not be all for nothing with street tires.
You may need a hood scoop in the long run as the airflow over the bonnet pulls the air up and not down the carbs which is where you want it . Yep she looks good with the tunnel Ram 🐏 😀.👍🏻🇦🇺.
Definitely buy a good converter, my son’s 71 Monte has a B&M hole shot converter that flashes to 3000 RPM and never really couples up good, it’s was so annoying to drive we LS swapped it
Looks like there is a little drifting going on there that would be bad ass to get to ride in that car..hey I was going to ask ya when u put the back glass in the ratty satty aside from the ribbon u used what are the little black pieces u put in to measure the glass distance
Actually the 68 convertible camaro was first on the list, followed by the 65 gto, but he got rid of the camaro and no one knows about the gto anymore. 🤦♂️
I don't think a tire rims in a work very good for Auto crossing it will work great on the drag strip but I suspect the car will flood out on the auto cross track they won't respond well to the hard left and right g-forces
Stickier tires would have been a plus. They are just BF goodie street tires. The Edelbrock carbs I’m running have an improved float design that prevents fuel slosh during hard cornering, hard braking, and hard acceleration. They do not push the float up, so no fuel starvation issues. It ran much better than I ever expected on the autocross! Can’t wait for next time!

AWESOME!!! Love seeing the VRS being used in all their glory!!!

Congratulations on a successful build Dave. That looked like a lot of fun.

Love the patina on that.
it does have a unique image you can not mistake, that is for sure!
Good to see the build turned out great....good content and thanks
That was awesome! Can I just say a Lapel Mic would be a good investment...
I left my fancy new gimbal & mics on my kitchen table! 🤣. I was too excited I guess…
Can’t wait to see

It just looks fantastic! What a great car!
Another problem I see vacuum advance with a tunnel ram? I don't think so you need to lock up a distributor and add all your timing initial
When do we see the charger again?😅 bought myself one to restore too😍
You’re going to like the next episode 😊
Here’s hoping 🤞
You know utah and idaho have a pretty good autocross program
Excellent footage

Fine Satellite, nice stance
Awesome Build...Would like to know the 1/4 time though. Happy to see the Better Half enjoying the car. God Bless my Friend.
Great show buddy
Awesome
Hell yeah

With you're talent i would paint this car.

Well now, that's out of your system, Can u now Finish the CHARGER, 1st car is last on list LOL
Actually the 68 convertible camaro was first on the list, followed by the 65 gto, but he got rid of the camaro and no one knows about the gto anymore. 🤦♂️
@Tommyp65 can’t help it that people want to buy them long before they are finished! Charger is next up! 😎🤙
@rustbucketrestos6511 I understand all to well, the hard work was done. it's nice to see you finally finish one and drive it. 👌

Why is the valve train so noisy?
The valve train is full hydraulic roller. It’s about as quiet as a sewing machine. Not sure what you’re hearing? 🤷♂️
I want to hear that engine, this sucks
Plenty of engine noise in the second half of the video! 😎👌
Instead of the poofs auto box why don't you fit a mans gearbox ?, oops sorry I'm not a very politically correct Englishman 😮😉
Why would he want to slow it down?
