Critically acclaimed mc/producer and Soul Position frontman Blueprint, returns with his highly anticipated sophomore solo release Adventures in Counter-Culture. Experimenting with synths, keyboards, and drum machines, Adventures in Counter-Culture touches on Blueprint's cynicism with the world, his disdain for pop culture, the state of politics and an apathetic, uninspired society. The album encompasses every facet of music Blueprint knows. It blurs genre lines and connects his hip hop pedigree with his early days in the church choir, to the R&B bands he was a part of in high school, to his new found interest in rock and electronic music.
After a five year musical journey, Blueprint has emerged with his greatest effort to date. A culmination of self discovery and societal critique, Adventures in Counter-Culture is just that. The adventure begins April 5th, 2011.

I literally haven't put a radio on since I was 15, that was four years ago and I haven't looked back since. People say it's a shame that artists like this don't gain the popularity they deserve. Yes it is, but it's this following that they gain away from the limelight that makes them the artist's they are. Much respect and admiration for Blueprint, Grieves, Brother Ali, anyone on Rhyme sayers and anyone who puts their heart and soul into their music for us to listen to.

Every time I hear this song, it gives me shivers down my spine. I haven't felt that from a song in years. Passion this strong doesn't come around anymore. I never through the same Print that I heard perform at Paid Dues tour rapping about fat and skinny woman would spit something so pure.
I've been a Rhymesayers fan for years--and it's because every artist on this label has songs with passion and connects with the roots of people's soul.

I remember when he came to my father's concert in Bellefontaine, OH and sang this song. He changed my perspective of life... and rhyme for that matter. I love this guy and everything he's done. Blueprint!!! I'm a proud member of the United States Air Force and I just want to say that I love your music, especially this song. I was let down by people who self proclaimed themselves as "Christians" growing up but they just ended up being "cookie cutter Christians". Just was at the concert in Philly tonight! This was by far my favorite song. Great performance.
I saw Atmosphere, Grieves, and Blue Print in Spokane, WA with my brother. Best concert I have ever been to. These guys have pure talent and should be respected for what they do and write.

Amen man. i get so tired of all of the people who barely got into the movement and who still are ignorant to anything going on trying to say hip hop is dead. I sit in my basement office surrounded by my records, many new and from new artists, almost all hip hop or something that the company carrying them mislabeled as alternative rock, blues , etc. If you think hip hop is dead , it isn't for you, never was. Hip hop is just growing up and diversifying.
