  • Most BMW wheels will fit Tesla studs, The center bore is very small on Model S so the wheel is centered with lug nuts.
Some Other models that share the same lug nut placement 120*5 are Honda Pilot, Ridgeline and Honda Odyssey.
If you mount 245/ 35 /19 size tire instead of 245/ 45 /19 it will fit better in front trunk.
If air suspension - set JACK MODE before lifting.

    A 245/45-19 is NOT an emergency donut. It's a full-sized spare tire.

Its BMW 650i Wheel. The BMW has about this same weight as the Tesla.
According to Consumer Report the Tesla is one of the safest cars on the market. That is mostly due to the front end having no engine and consequently a very large crush zone. Additionally the location of the battery also provides a large amount of stiffness under the area under the occupants. By putting a spare wheel in the front you are limiting the ability of the car to absorb a collision with an impact from the front.

+BeAnBeAn22 The BMW Rim is a 2005/6 650i. The 2006 650i weighs 3814Lbs and the Tesla 2015 P85D does weigh more 4963lbs. However a similar vintage and with similar performance 2013 BMW 650ix weighs slightly more 5203lbs. Before I purchased a Tesla I had the 650ix. Weight was one of my concerns with getting a Tesla. As it ended up they were close enough in weight I didn't care. The big advantage to a Tesla is there is no big heavy V8 in an frontal accident to end up in my lap. Putting a tire and rim in the front will change the crush zone of the front of the car.
Since many cars today are designed without a spare another modern solution is required. The smartest alternative solution to a spare is a run-flat tire. That gets you out of the dessert, you don't have to carry some additional weight (run-flats are heavier), more room for functional luggage and you don't compromise the effective safety of the vehicle with an uncrushable wheel or a something heavy that is unsecured which may fly in any unknown direction.

I was interested to see where you were going to jack it to avoid damaging the battery. Is there a dedicated jacking point?

Karl Shields there is special plastic block that fits exactly where the jack points are. It is sold separately. I found one for about $40 on eBay.
