The Leafs worst sweater is probably their first Reverse Retro. Had they used white instead of grey and scaled down the logo size, it would have been completely different sweater. Their current black alternate is also very close to being the worst. We didn't need a black sweater.
Leafs: "just put the T on there". That was the original plan but they legally had to use "Arenas" so they did what Ballard did back in the 80s when the NHL wanted names. Ballard didnt want them so he added blue letters nameplates to the blue jerseys so you couldnt see them
@@icewyre the Arenas logo with the T is copyrighted. They aren't allowed to use the T by itself. It has to be accompanied by the "Arenas" text. Dubas and the leafs didn't want the text so they turned it blue. If you had the MiC version of the jersey it actually matches the jersey alot more than the retail jersey
It's not that it's orange that bothers me, as I do quite like the Oilers' orange Reeboks. It's just that they did it with such a dark blue and made it such an offputting style to me that it was like... yeah.. that's a huuuge downgrade.
Sharks “seals” throwbacks don’t make sense because although the seals played in Oakland, they aren’t a part of the sharks franchise. The seals eventually became the North Stars which became the Dallas Stars franchise

Now the panthers may never change the uniforms since they won the cup in them but heres an idea keep the current home but make the torso and elbow white stripe gold and the gold trim to white! Move the torso line to the bottom of the jersey as a trim…and make the lower half of the sleeves and the bottom of the torso under the stripes navy blue and put a thin white strip on the bottom of the jersey as the border under the blue and make the thin white wrist stripe for the wrist from how adidas makes the wrist have a border all (white gold white and blue going down in that order with a white wrist and border on the torso, basically keep the elbows and torso stripes invert the stripe colors and put blue on the entire lower sleeve and torso and add a final white sttipe and wrist like a trim) put the leaping panther on it and put the rr2.0 logo on the shoulders and the numbers on the upper half of the arms where the state flag patch is located. And the shoulders rounded off with navy blue with a white line between the navy shoulder and red primary around the shoulders and white where the laces go but the collar is a gold collar with a white trim on the top and bottom lines between it and the center f the colar where the nhl logo goes is gold……like the current one for a reason…….representing being champions! And the laces are like the traditional look now and make them navy blue to add contrast. Basically a new uniform with throwback colors!
Not a NYR fan but I do love the Lady Liberty logo, I think that should be the Rags 3rd, but only in royal blue, that’s the only shade of blue the Rags belong in imo

It’s a subjective ranking on each team’s lowest overall jersey. Never said these jerseys were awful or anything. Note that many were winter classics/stadium, which is when teams take chances. If you’re upset then do your own ranking 🙄

I feel like I’m the only one who actually loves the orange Oilers jerseys. Too many teams use blue nowadays.
