Use mine weekly, sometimes in the garage. Hammock mode bug net :- If you don't want it, just spin the hammock upside-down and lie with it under the hammock.. Also, if you run a ridge line, internally, through it from suspension chord to suspension chord, you'll have support for the mesh and a place to hang things...
I was so close to getting this hammock as a part of a winter deal I got a mega cheap one on ebay to test if I could kip in it before I made a decision, (my grandson is in it right now, in my flat, doing the same thing lol, if he sleeps tonight it is his). In the end I went for a cheaper one on ebay as it had wire hoops, I love the double skin dd puts on their hammocks and I am sure they are 100x better quality, especially the bug nets coz they are so fine, but the whole having to tie up the net put me off. Hope to see you again at the preppers meet this year chap :D
With a bit of luck I will make the Prepper meet this year. Last year everything was so up in the air with the pandemic and this year who really knows what's going on??? Lol
Hammocking, now we're talking....that with a radio this year. Great to see an in depth video on it mate...not enough in depth videos on hammocks, setting uo, distances between trees, other possibilities etc. Also saw you cover up the ash on fb, 100%....LNT
@@wowsly Thanks for the reply. I bought it about 8-9 years ago and hadn’t looked at it for several years. Then it came as just ‘travel hammock’ and never used it. Planning on using it this summer and noticed your vid with the poles. They’re only £5 on the DD site. This vid certainly helped me. Thanks.
