- Hello All! Welcome to 24 hours in the life of Alex, I'll be bringing you along for the day with me living, filming, editing and everything else in between.
I'm currently in rural France working as a on and off as a cameraman for the @ThePethericks RUclips channel where we are renovating an 18th Century abandoned convent!

Wow! Who knew;sorry Billy for not appreciating all you have to do to produce your videos for us. Thanks Alex for enlightening us.
I remember when Billy dropped back to once a week for a while. He couldn't get anything else accomplished -- work at the convent, then work on the video. Alex has made life much better for Billy -- Gwendolyn is not perpetually ready to murder him.
No wonder Billy finds it time consuming , when you're not around
Really great behind-the-scenes video. I am an avid watcher of the Convent videos. This is a very well-put-together and entertaining video. The amount of work that the cameraman has to perform shows your professionalism.

Thanks for the behind the scenes. A lot of work goes into it. You have so many cameras, microphones and other things to not lose and keep safe. I did love the backwards Yanis cam!😂 We laughed so hard and rewatched it.

What a SUPER video. We had no idea of the amount of time and effort that goes into making these videos. Gosh you have to be fit to position yourself in the correct place for shooting the different scenes …. Running up and down stairs, clambering up on to the roof of a truck, hanging out of windows to name a few all to capture the best shots possible to create the superb videos that you do. The drone shots are amazing the morning light gives the convent a mystical look. Billie is a perfectionist so it is evident why he wants you to be his video man. This was really cool! It showed us so much of all the steps (and those literally) you do just to get out each video. I know Billy is always so glad when you're there and now I have a better idea of all the work involved. Thanks, Alex, you're amazing. 💕👍

And now I know. Many things to say: all the tech stuff was over my pea “tech” brain, the edited video is entertaining however this video made me feel like I was an apprentice with you today, I needed a break after watching it. Your work is beyond measure. Your star is shining bright.

Hey Alex, great video, I think you work the longest hours. You are there before everybody else and after they all leave. You have 8 hours of filming condensed into 20-30-minute video. You work as hard as everyone else; no wonder Billy finds it to be a pain to work and film. Thanks for giving us a different perspective on how RUclips works. Love from N.Y.

It seems to me that filming, editing, uploading and then reviewing comments, is a full-time job. You have a true talent for making what you do seem easy & effortless on our side of the camera. Layla is the perfect companion for you and I'm sure she is well loved by everyone at the chateau and convent as well , My gosh , you certainly get lots of exercise in a day with all the stairs you tackle in the course of your preperation and filming . I'm amazed at how little the filming slows things down - been a long time watcher and thought there would have been quite a bit more spent setting up shots. An older camera guy would struggle to keep up! Nice job.

Thanks for a glimpse of Alex's day of filming at the convent. A totally full day (not counting the shower, cups of tea, and lunch) and the end result is a 28-30 minute video. Not so easy to run back and forth to capture great shots. The angles are fantastic! I really appreciate the drone shots. Overhead shots of the convent, and the neighbourhood are beautiful! Thanks Alex!

This is more of a letter than a comment , so here goes
Dear Alex, looking over what do, your on your feet both physically and mentally the whole time, side eye open, looking for what the viewer will find interesting.
Your awareness of light and atmosphere are amazing, so young but so professional.
It screams this is my passion, what I want to do with my life because despite being "on" all the time your having fun as well, I hope this continues and you get to do many many projects with much different content that I am sure you are aiming for. (we would miss you but with your talent you deserve to be documenting a larger world than a RUclips channel, no offence to Billy)
You seem to have the knack of making people relax in front of the camera which is no mean feat, and making sure your subject doesn't miss a factoid, which with Billy is minor miracle as he skitters from subject to subject.
All in all were lucky to be watching your work.
Oh and Layla is adorable !
"Don't go without me!"..... One can only assume that there was a time when Alex, you were filming the truck leaving the convent and..... they left. LOL.
