Cool content … I’ve lived in some mountains in New Mexico growing up used to hunt coon. I came across an old cave with a ton of hieroglyphics. And on the side of the cave there were some of them crosses. Wow that’s so cool. There’s treasure to be found vertically. Sometimes things aren’t what they appear to be.

Thumbs up for your enthusiasm and investment of personal time and $ for gear. There's a lot of history in that region. You are clearly new to it.

Yea hundreds of years of history in that area now its getting a TV show shame how they will only put what they want in the TV show. I just would like to see real footage and pictures of what was actually found there what doc saw the first time down. The artifacts and skeletons and rooms smelter ext.

@@Rockymountainprospector I'm hoping the Victorio Peak show will be good. I don't know about one in the Caballos at this time - but it's not like I would! My website maybe but the book for sure has pics of some signs that used to be in the Caballos, but are now long gone. They are from farther south than in this vid. The shaft in this vid is along a Copper deposit, as far as I know. Been there quite a lot over the years. I'm waiting for part 2 of this series. If these guys like to go down holes, I know where a ton are, with likely much better mineral potential.

@@Rockymountainprospector Oh yeah! Utah is very interesting. Check out Terry Carter's channel and the Treasure Exploration and Research channel. I'd start with The Lost Josephine (both the Uintah one and the Henry's one), the Lost Rhoades, and Carrie Shinob. But, there's probably tons of local stuff related to regular banditry/stagecoach robberies and so on, too. There's minerals to hunt down, too. Topaz comes to mind.

Clearly, you were nowhere near Victorio Peak. But an interesting adventure nonetheless. Personally, I'd be surprised if any treasure was found in such a deep pit. Regardless of paper "clues", I'd be more interested in finding large obstructions that could conceal more horizontal entrances.

Doc Starr / Noss, found multiple smaller treasures all around NM but the big one that was stolen from him by the Gubbermint was Victorio Peake!
He found many different types of Gold & Silver Bars, Spanish Artifacts, Breast Plates, Helmets tons of Horse Tack, swords, Spanish Coins, Jesuit Caches & Mines
      KING’s Mines
      Bootleg Spanish Soldiers Mines
      Storage Caches
      Spanish Maps & Markers
He destroyed and changed a lot of the markers and glyphs to keep people away from the T-Locations.
He found Pioneer caches that were found and moved / relocated to other places by the Pioneers and they would go back and take what they needed and would reside the location entrance because the Natives would scalp them if they found a treasure at the Pioneers property. So the Pioneers would just take out the things they could sell or barter with/ other Pioneers & TownsPeople. Doc was Native American and had several secrets given to him that assisted him w/ locating these Caches locations.
So a lot of times Doc would find something valuable and relocate it to his personal hiding chance spots all over the Badin , Caballo Mts, Or Mys, Franklin Mts. Middle of the desert and hide stuff in plain sight sometimes just because people wouldn’t think to look in the easy places.
He his 22 Dory Bars under a Little dog house at the famous cabin / hunting cabin there Olin T & C.

I know where there is a hole in the Capitan’s.
I know where there are some hieroglyphs and old mines in the cab tens as well. I truly believe there is a stash of Spanish gold in the Capitan‘s. they’re in Lincoln County.
The Capitain’s would’ve been a major waypoint back in the day.
