actually wolf is the second half of kindred, a spirit who would bring people to the afterlife. This spirit got lonely, and split himself in two. A lamb (the female voice), and a wolf (the wolf shown in the picture). The male voice however, isnt wolf. Its jhin, a murderer who kills to turn people into art. Their hums match up, because they were developed for the game (league of legends) as one character, but the developers decided to split up into different characters.
Likely not true, in Kindred's dialog they said that they were as old as time, however their humming does have a connection to Jhin, and since the Kindred were as old as time, they would've already existed when Jhin was born.

He would have been one of the funniest preys. -If you don't mind that I speak now, allow me to explain why you wouldn't have fun. He might have had a challenging nature to him. But he never truly broke the rules. He simply found alternatives others found acceptable. And when death was close to him, he remembered good and proper arguments that proved it was not yet his hour. But now that his purpose has been fulfilled, we could appear at any time, that he wouldn't have attacked us. He knows that would be unfair. And this time, there were no arguments to justify him living. And even if he did delay it a little, once you appeared, he wouldn't even truly resist. Or let anyone else protect him. -That does sound boring. It's a shame. His emotional side would certainly make an impressive chase. -And yet, his temporary beautiful nature lead him to me.
