Check Chris' Instagram. He's always posting "blast from the past" pics from the time he wore costumes to shows. In many captions he says "this kind of look was common in Florida in the 80's" or something alike. He just had to grow up there to get the inspiration for his costumes. Totally worth it.
Why on earth, would you cut time on Less Than Jake? One of the greatest bands made. Lucky they played the rest of the show! Shoulda walked , but they stayed for their fans. Love these guys.
Less Than Jake played at my tiny St Pete Fl college 3 years in a row in the late 90's. They were so rowdy and there was always tons of carnage the next day, but they kept coming year after year!
Thanks for uploading this! What an interesting period for Less Than Jake. They had just released Borders and Boundaries six months prior, Derron quit, JR recently replaced him, Pete Anna was still in the band for a few months before he eventually quit.
Are Chris and Roger singing together the whole time or is Roger singing only the chorus?? Their voices are very similar but Roger's is slightly higher maybe? Sometimes I can clearly tell their voices apart in songs and other times not at all. Maybe they're just harmonizing so well a lot of times that the two voices have become one 🤷
I actually came here to try and figure out the same thing, I had always thought Roger was the main vocalist. It appears on this song, Chris sings the verses and the opening chorus, Roger just the chorus, and occasionally they harmonize together. Roger's voice is definitely a bit higher

I think they're split here, Chris for verses, Roger for chorus, but Roger and the trumpet players sometimes kick in as backup vocals during verses.
Chris sings 2/3 of the lyrics while Roger sings the other 3/5…
