The fact that when he tried to turn back to Jesus and all of the demons and distractions were all coming at him at once AGGRESSIVELY to keep him away from God poisoning his mind of how “worthless and un lovable he is now that he’s done all those things” and then When the main guy can’t reach Jesus because he has gone as far as he could by his own will. Jesus “MEETS” him where he is at. Jesus comes to him! And then STANDS BETWEEN him and his Sin “I will cast your sin as far as the East is from the West”…. I was a teenager when this song came out and these skits were created… as an adult I see the meaning so clearly (more so than before although I did understand at the time a version of it as well”this skit and song is it’s own sermon and the representation of many peoples redemption story of their lives. Praise Jesus!!!!!

Nice skit I saw this a while back but I can't help but wonder, I wonder if this church casts out devils like Jesus. I wonder of they fast and pray like Jesus, I wonder if the pastor has ever prayed all night like Jesus, I wonder what level of the glory of God rests on them due to total death to self not being critical im sure I would love them all if I met them but I can't help but wonder what weight will we hold in eternity and are we actually anything like the mighty Christ who reigns on the throne
