I just now found your channel and this is the first video I’m watching. Girl, you are so cute! So happy and excited! I have insomnia and well, you didn’t help me there🤪 but you helped me to be happy myself! ❤ My family has gone through so much loss in the past 5 years, heck in the past year. I NEED happy! I’m so glad God brought me to your channel. He sure knew I needed your happy. Thank you! Can’t wait to watch ALL your videos!! ❤ Take care!
You know how you say “ I am obsessed “? Well I am obsessed with your channel. Your enthusiasm and your ability to teach is absolutely incredible. Just before Christmas I found your channel and I am learning so much from you. I have almost everything I need to start making trays, coasters, ornaments and jewelry. I have purchased the Let’s Resin starter kits and other products you have recommended and I cannot be more excited to start creating. A huge Thank you Claire! I hope one day I will have a fraction of your talent.❤
I love these Claire❤️ you could also use the excess bags as the actual matching packaging for everything you make. Nice bit of ribbon around the top of the bag, gorgeous.😀xx
I was thinking the same thing. Use the extra bags to package the final product. You can even use contacting bags. Also you can cut out the shapes and make earrings. That'll be so cute. You van also use UV resin that'll give you instant gratification. Thanks so much for sharing.
In the states, we can get cellophane bags in a 5-20 count in our dollar stores. I bet you could find something similar in a smaller amount over at a pound shop or thrift shop! Just a thought. Thank you for sharing your experiments with us
I was going to say the same, I’m in Canada I literally saw these same designs at dollar tree for anyone who wants them right away. Also dollar store pencil cases and plastic duotangs/folios with mermaid scales, holo, dragon scales, unicorns etc.can be encapsulated the same. They have metallic 3d stickers that work amazing in coasters, trays etc.
They also sell cellophane sheets with patterns for present/flower wrapping, I thought about this idea too but hadn't got around to testing it 🙃so well done! saved me the trouble.
Hi Claire what a great idea with the party bags, I just bought a laminator and laminated that paper I got from the range for 2 trays I v poured the glitter in the edges just paper to put in now, love yours 😍 as always thanks for sharing ❤️ ❤️❤️ xxx
Hi Claire! My brain went to "can you layer them for a 3D effect?" Maybe show us a try at layering these for a 3D look? Love them as they are! Very pretty!
I have before, I have also used those bags in pendants and perfume trays and they are AMAZING. You can get them at dollar tree in less counts as well. The Halloween ones are a blast.
I was thrilled to see this technique. I am just started to watch more and more YT videos on resin and i think its great. So it was all new to me. Thanks!!
Claire, I literally just pressed play on your video, but I think you could be the first person to do this!!! Definitely the first person I have seen do. I’m excited to sit back and watch! Aaaaahhh I’m as excited as it sounds like you are in the video!!!
Very cool.. the one you dropped in is the pink one right? That one did have bubbles. You are right my brain is going crazy. I also do tumblers and yes they will be on some tumblers. EXCITING!!!!!! Thanks Love hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
I'm definitely going to try this out. I'm going to cut my shapes before I start applying my epoxy as I'm thinking of doing a collage. My brain is now going a gazillion miles a minute with the endless possibilities lol Thanks so much!!
I love this video! Thank you so much for trying this! The bags that I bought are a lot different and TIP: I bought mine at the Dollar Tree (USA). I have the same deburring tool and I love using those curlys to put inside of things. 🥰
Omg I was in the dollar store a month ago. I get the best ideas walking around and I say oh wow I can use these to resin with. Thank you for sharing your experience. Love the colors you chose. Really does make it pop
@@cookielady1005able oh, for sure, I was at the dollar store today.. it's so hard to not come home with a huge haul 🤣 They have all of their spring and Easter stuff right now. I ended up just getting a couple of really cute baskets to store my cricut stuff in but it wanted at least 30 items that I walked past. 🤣
Fabulous idea!!! Thank you for sharing, you know this one is going to go off the charts! For a more personalized party bag, perhaps one could stamp on plain bags with a staz-on ink or maybe even an archival ink. I think I will try this! Thank you for taking my brain out of neutral 😉
To be honest I didnt even know about using cellophane I'm still learning I love this idea I'm going order some bags right now, my son is getting married in 2 years time I am making the favours and other gifts for the guests this has given me a great idea or two so thank you very much x
If you use a mold often it might save you time by making a paper template. Use a file folder or something of similar thickness. Then cut out the shape of the bottom of your mold. Then you can just pop the template on your cellophane sheet and trace around it.
absolutely brilliant! Before you said black, I was thinking a gold background! And our dollar store carries those in packs of 10. I cannot wait to give it a try! 😮
Wow wow wow these are absolutely gorgeous Claire and what a fantastic idea who knew cello bags and your right the possibilities are literally endless ❤ I love the big hearts so much ❤❤
Oh wow these are beautiful and you have got my mind racing already and I haven't even finished watching the video yet, I think we will be looking at party bags and even some of the flower cellophane you can get these days 😉 x
I've been using these for years, I just don't do videos... you can also use birthday banners (the glittery side) or even laser cut plastic tablecloths that are really shiny ❤
I do resin as well. One of my favorite things to do is use cellophane inside a piece. Works better slightly crumpled. It reflects light and has all sorts of amazing colors
Oh my gosh! I bought about 10 sets of different ones at the dollar tree a few months ago and I was going to make a video of this! I have other things I want to put them in. I'm even more excited to do it now! ❤️
Gold or black for bottom color. YES use the curls with different size glitters in a party peice it will look like confetti 🎊 and ribbons. Maybe New Years. Black bottom gold rim instead of red. These are beautiful!!!
I'll say it for you I'm obsessed ;-) I live them. Also like you a think the little curls coming off are awesome. I always save my scraps and yes they can look great when added to a project. Have fun PS you could also use the bag that matches the craft with/if gifting.
Soo pretty! Don't ever apologize for being excited... your joy is infectious and that's part of what brings us back video after video! I'm going to see if I can find a variety pack of bags with multiple holidays/seasons represented. Less waste, and I can use the bags for when people buy my crafts. But there will be plenty for use in resin. Sorry I missed the live today. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
They look lovely. I have been using the iridescent party bags for some time, which look great in resin. Can't remember where i heard about it? It was suggested to use them if you couldn't find the iridescent cellophane sheets or bath bombs wrappers. I seriously never considered using those decorative bags that you used, but I'll have a look out for them now. As you said, there are endless possibilities. Lovely outcome, thank you for sharing.
The dishes came out great. Check with party supply stores, they sell ten bags packages here. Just be careful to put the outside of the bag facedown, for the most vibrant color.
You could make your own designs with marker on clear bags. Like your name or initials. Kids art. Endless possibilities. Even color in the art on the bags. Or trace a pattern you like from paper onto the clear cellophane.
Another method you can use is use a clear label, print what ever design you want, then cut by a specific size and shape with ur cutting machine. I get my clear labels from online labels (not sure if they do shipping outside the US)

Just randomly happened upon this video and wanted to stop and say your excitement, paired with your dialect, was the best part of my day.
I love these Claire❤️ you could also use the excess bags as the actual matching packaging for everything you make. Nice bit of ribbon around the top of the bag, gorgeous.😀xx

That's what I was thinking! ❤😃
Great idea !!
I love that you give Wendy some love! Not everyone is so nice (and that's why I watch you and Toonpish and not those other channels)
Wiw as soon as i saw the shavings i thought of saving it for other projects. Party confetti.
They all look very romantic and at the same time funny and cute 😍
Your voice sounds like you're always laughing! It's so refreshing!
Wow that’s genius. I understand your excitement about the bags. I am the same way. Very nice trays.
WOW!!!!! 2 AWESOME GAME CHANGERS!! LOVE THESE!! Sorry, had to do all caps!! Thank you Claire👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰

Wow, what an awesome idea Claire! Those mermaid bags - what amazing pendants they would make!
They also sell cellophane sheets with patterns for present/flower wrapping, I thought about this idea too but hadn't got around to testing it 🙃so well done! saved me the trouble.
I love her energy! I can't stop watching. Great work!
Thankyooooo Candace ❤️❤️❤️

I have used cellophane bags in resin. Last year I made a Christmas plate with Xmas cellophane and I made a plaque this year using it. Great effects!!!
I was thrilled to see this technique. I am just started to watch more and more YT videos on resin and i think its great. So it was all new to me. Thanks!!

I love the idea on how to use the bags. Something new to. Amazing ❤❤. Lisa
Very cool.. the one you dropped in is the pink one right? That one did have bubbles. You are right my brain is going crazy. I also do tumblers and yes they will be on some tumblers. EXCITING!!!!!! Thanks Love hugs Sheryl 💙🎨💙
They turned out just beautiful and amazing ❤❤❤
I'm definitely going to try this out. I'm going to cut my shapes before I start applying my epoxy as I'm thinking of doing a collage. My brain is now going a gazillion miles a minute with the endless possibilities lol Thanks so much!!
Yes I overflowed one of my first molds but it’s a learning process 😊
These are great. I have colored on plastic and put it in. Never did cellophane party bags. Great idea.
I've been trying new things in my resin trays, here's another! I love it!!
lol yeah I've been doing this for years, but I don't do videos. :D glad you discovered this!!
Nice! Just a quck note, you can use clear cels in a laser printer and just print whatever design you want, and you don't waste any material this way.
Tons of wedding bags great for favors! What an idea!!!
I love red, white and black together!
They turned out amazingly.
fun project for resin newbies. 😉
I love this video! Thank you so much for trying this! The bags that I bought are a lot different and TIP: I bought mine at the Dollar Tree (USA). I have the same deburring tool and I love using those curlys to put inside of things. 🥰

I didn't know this tool existed. I am sooo excited. I have a fair to go to and this will make my products soo much better. Thank you so much!!
Fantastic the video and even more your energetic explanation! Don’t know which one is my favourite 😂😂😂

Love them. Can't wait to see more,...Thanks Debby
I've not even watched it yet and I know I loooooove it, I'm obsessed 😍 xxx
This beautiful. These trays would be great for holding sewing notions, but with magnets under opaque celophane
Awesome Idea, Fantastic Results
Beautiful I’ve done this with Opal iridescent bags!!
If you use a mold often it might save you time by making a paper template. Use a file folder or something of similar thickness. Then cut out the shape of the bottom of your mold. Then you can just pop the template on your cellophane sheet and trace around it.
I love all 3, but I prefer the white background. I am gonna try this technique. Thank you!!
Hahaha..love them. Yes you can get Chinese new year bags.
I will have to give this a try
absolutely brilliant! Before you said black, I was thinking a gold background! And our dollar store carries those in packs of 10. I cannot wait to give it a try! 😮

Ahhhh yes Cellophane does work fantastic I've seen Wendy at Toonpish Crafts use it several times a gorgeous effect 😍😍😍 I've never used it like that
It’s funny I have one of those tools and I didn’t know what it was used for! Now I know, thank you!
Oh my gosh! I bought about 10 sets of different ones at the dollar tree a few months ago and I was going to make a video of this! I have other things I want to put them in. I'm even more excited to do it now! ❤️
So cute. Sometimes you can buy the bags separately at bulk food stores in the sweet department.
I used a Christmas cellophane bag in a coaster last year with a bag I had leftover, need to buy some because as you said it's a game changer x
Good idea🎉. You could also try the napkins with different designs.
Thank you so much for this video. I have so many ideas in my head that I am ready to explode. Thank you.
Have fun

Cool 🙂🙂 The deburring tool is probably the favourite in my kit, it has saved me many a time.

Pouring Your Heart Out, I think, has done it as an experiment.
Love, love, love! What a great idea. ❤️

Absolutely love this idea, you are a genius Claire, like you said there are endless possibilities 😊
I'm new to resin crafting and these are gawjuss and a wonderful idea!
Love your excitement for your crafts. This is awesome! Love from NB Canada!
Love, love, love! Genius idea!
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 So happy you got a deburring tool.
Another method you can use is use a clear label, print what ever design you want, then cut by a specific size and shape with ur cutting machine. I get my clear labels from online labels (not sure if they do shipping outside the US)
Amazing idea will surely try out ❤️
Thank you! Love your creations❤️
Wow!! Love these!! What a great idea. ❤❤❤
what an awesome idea !! these little trinket holders are so darn cute
You could also write on the bags, a sweet message, not sure if it would dry very well on this material.
