THE ROYAL WINDSOR HORSE SHOW

We fire up the Time Machine to travel back to 1985, to Windsor Castle, where for the first time ever, the United States Equestrian Team was invited to compete at the Windsor Horse Show, the largest open air horse should in England.

What a wonderful show to watch with all the various events taking place amid all the groomed trails and grass fields. It would be a dream to attend, but sadly I'll have settle for cattle and quarter horses down here in Ft. Worth, TX. I loved driving my horse down the dirt roads many years ago, so watching the four-in-hand teams was exciting and I'm happy that the U.S. team did so well, although now, I guess, the Australians are the brilliant team to beat in world competitions. Driving takes great skill and daring especially handling 4 at a time and with the tight turns. Thanks for posting this video, it was a delight!
