- This video explains exactly why you keep blowing accounts in my opinion! I explain exactly WHY determining your lot size is one of the most important decisions you can make while trading. Your lot size is the literal difference maker of risking 10% on a trade .. and only risking 2%. Hope this video helps! It's more of a psychological video - because that is what determines what contract you go with. If your mind is so fixated on making a lot of money fast, you'll surely blow account after account. So stick around for the psychological part at the end.
This video is for beginners! Some beginners don't know what lot size they should be choosing, WHY they should choose a certain lot size, and how it affects them in the long run. Hopefully this simple breakdown from my perspective works!

I have this strict rule that I never let go of. I always use 5% risk of my account with every trade, even with trades im 80% sure of what's going to happen. Consistency is key

First thing is weigh in on how much you have in your account, because you have to be mindful of margin based on account balance with the risk. Your risk should be based on knowledge and experience also. Then you can see how much you can risk to receive the award as long as you have a solid setup. Also know your pair as far as the volatility is concern, how well it works as a whole in the dominant session to that pair. Take everything in consideration. Some pairs you can risk more or less, depending on the volatility. Then use his info above. He really gives out great info. Thank you for these videos.

Lot size is sooooo important. If you want to hop in to feel the real emotion behind trading move on from a demo account and start trading a real account but knock your lot size down to .10 instead of 1.0 that way you have skin in the game and actually study and learn to analyze the market instead of just randomly hopping in and out. This is such a in depth breakdown that he just gave away for free. Imagine this but a hundred more on his course.

Swaggy i just noticed you didnt realize that TradingView buy/sell position tool on it owns calculates the pips for you. When you hover the tool, between the percentage in brackets and the word "amount" it shows the pips for the take profit and stop loss.

Forex trading seems to be really difficult, i have studied and made good analysis on the market, i've also used trading bots and yet i still make loses, it's really frustrating but i'm gonna keep my head up on it cos i see alot of people winning from the forex market.
You should try to study Forex and its market. Playing with a demo account is also a good start.
@@elizabetharmstrong1355 believe me when i say I studied a lot about Forex, devoted two months to it and during these two months I practiced with a demo account, while I was doing a good profit, so I decided to move to a real account but unfortunately I lost a lot.

With the Risk/Reward tool on Tradingview you can just use what it says for Qty as your position size right? For example you set your S/L, TP, and entry price and say it gives you a Qty of 10000. That would mean you should trade 1 mini lot to stay within the amount you will risk in your account? Am I getting that right?

For example my broker won’t let me use a 1 lot it’s says insufficient funds 🤔 my account size is 1k. So how are people throwing 1 lots on small account sizes ??

Swaggy C. Love the videos im really paying attention to price levels and have turned around my trading. Just scalped US 30 for 365$ today. I never exceed .01 lot sizes. I won't go any higher until I can fully trust myself. Btw what breed is your 🐕?

For you 20k with .25 .50 1.00 lot sizes. US 30 is tricky gota get in and get out. Very volatile moves quick. Definitely study it but the same applies to what you've been teaching. Stay away from early mornings the market slows down after 12. What kind of dog do you have? Is it a yourky?
