Awesome interview, talking the topics from a couple of view points between two very smart people is fantastic for fans. Thanks for taking the time to educate all of us.
Great episode. I always liked the Burton brothers (just as I did the Labonte Brothers), and to see Harrison win and to put the Wood Brothers back in victory lane was awesome to see. Family has always been a big part of NASCAR and I think with current day rivalries, controversies, and such...that view of family tends to get lost in the shuffle.
great great interview... really cool as usual... love the tri five first car story too... kudus to Harrison and to you too Mr. Kevin for a great podcast slash youtube thingy...
This father /son win reminds me of when the Jarret family win against Dale Sr. Great family history in Nascar. This was one of your best podcasts Kevin. Love your shows. Thanks so much for sharing all your great thoughts and memories.
Great points made by both Harvick and Burton. The thing Nascar needs to do is listen to their fans. They are constantly chasing new fans, which are needed, but can't forget about their long time fans.
I always enjoy your shows! This was special for me because the Burtons were my first racing family that I watched at SBS and OCS who grew from local short track to the elite of NASCAR. So much fun to see Harrison and Layne (son of another great local racer) have their success this weekend. Thanks for sharing the family side with all the race fans!!!
I’ve always admired Jeff throughout his entire career..past to present. I commend Jeff and his gorgeous wife on the way they raised Harrison. How wonderful to have a loving caring father as well as a mentor. Congratulations again to Harrison, his fiancé, the Burton family and the entire Wood Brothers organization on that historic 100th win. Wishing Harrison much success on whatever road he chooses to follow going forward. 💕🏁💕
Great interview, I know Jeff Burton doesn't have the Cup credentials of Kevin but hopefully someday the community sees what Jeff has contributed to NASCAR and puts him in the HOF.
I lurked in the shadows of Victory Lane wearing a #8 Kyle Busch shirt watching Wood Bros, Burtons and Jarrett's celebrate..My son gave Mrs Burton a ziplock of confetti to keep forever😢
You don't always have to watch the races. I always also love to listen to the race on the radio. Nascar don't know how many people listen verses watching is.
NASCAR has lost touch with continuity of the fans so they are ‘engineering’ drama and think suppressing innovation in the shop is ensuring competition. They have become ‘about the business’ and have forgotten that they sanction automotive racing, they aren’t sanctioning income competition. Basically they’ve forgotten the fans imho. Let’s have racing and let competition sort itself out.
It's insane that Harrison Burton became a NASCAR Cup Series Winner before GTA 6 Especially Considering that Jeff Burton had an active driving career in the duration of Every GTA Game's Release.
My pick christopher bell ended up 3rd after starting from the 27th starting position but I predict that Christopher Bell will sweep the weekend at Darlington just like he did at New Hampshire motor speedway both xfinity and cup races
I wanted to comment on tues show, about if u win the most races your in championship race. Ok let's say next yr SVG wins 5 road courses but cannot finish in the top 25 on a oval. Would that be fair? No I don't think so. I like the playoff format compared to ones in the past.
Poor Hudson or whatever the kids name is driving the 21. So much struggle under that car trying to make it fast the last 3 years while working 7-6 day job.😊
Shane will do well.true short track ,ovals,Shane will memorise, and then he Hunts,my opinion, mick Murray goldcoast,Australia, He is second to the late great,Bruce McLaren, kiwi formula 1,race car driver.
Ive just gotten back into nascar. Listening to old stories and all that. Thought i would give the new stuff a shot. He just said it. It all looks like a simulation. I hate it. I don’t see how a throwback league or something else hasn’t taken over. It’s so generic now
Harrison won a race where all the real drivers were knocked out....He does not belong in cup with his average finish of 28th....He will make a good spotter in the truck series.
Having the non playoff teams still racing and competing in the playoffs. 😮 Be like the NFL still having the non playoff teams playing in the playoffs 😂😂😂😮
I had a lot of fun catching up with my buddy and former teammate, Jeff. What did you guys think of the episode?

Excellent!! I love the first car stories ❤. Kevin you are fantastic with these interviews!!!
Also like first car stories. Cool Jeff still owns his first car. I love tri5s also. Have had my 56 56 years. Like your program too
It’s one of my fave episodes

Awesome couldn’t have been a better guy to win than Harrison good kid and a huge fan of Jeff Burton and Kevin Harvick Mustang power yes 👍😎🙏
Two of my favorite all time drivers.
I really enjoyed this interview with Burton 😊

Kevin your shows continue to just get better and better WOW, what a friend and guest you have with Jeff Burton, a BIG thankyou 👍🇨🇦
Thank you! Jeff and I go WAY back! Thanks for watching.

Love the Burton Family, I spent 17 years in Virgina while on active-duty Navy. I followed Jeff and Ward a lot.
That is why Jeff Burton is "The Mayor". Congratulations Jeff on Harrisons 1st cup win 🏆.
Jeff Burton!! Love that dude
Great interview, I know Jeff Burton doesn't have the Cup credentials of Kevin but hopefully someday the community sees what Jeff has contributed to NASCAR and puts him in the HOF.
Jeff Burton is so respectable
Great job guys love it all top of the line

The Burtons are a class act, absolutely!
You don't always have to watch the races. I always also love to listen to the race on the radio. Nascar don't know how many people listen verses watching is.
Jeff Burton is the man I remember that guy doing something I don’t think will be able to be duplicated again by leading all the laps at New Hampshire
All Star Race Bill Elliot, Ward Burton and Mike Bliss in the booth. Now that would be funny!
Harvick and dale jr are carrying nascar right now for content outside the raceweekend. It's a shame nascar race hub is gone.
Eric Estepp and Kenny Wallace clear them easily. This show sucks.
@@James3zington eric step? Never heard of her
@@James3zingtonthat nerd Eric never sat in a race car. Harvick drove these cars and understands the sport.
I would include Hamlin as well, his podcast is fantastic

What's your favorite Jeff Burton moment?

When he sat on the pole, led all 300 laps & won the race at new hampshire!
Dover win over Matt kenseth
Wiping out Jeff Gordon.
Him Qualifying At Watkins Glen In 2012
I remember when Jet Dryertoya crashed both of this guys at The Glen in '07.
Not every race fan likes the crashes.
I was at Talladega and saw Jr. go from last to first in 5 laps. That is racing.
I want to watch more races but don’t have cable 29:39
check online there're places you can watch 4 free
Jeff's 1st car story was definitely better than Mr. Excitement Clint Boýeā

Even Kyle Larson would be struggling driving the #21 put Harrison in the #5 car for a season and watch what happens 😂
Can yall give the short track cars 900 hp so they can actually pass FFS

You say the same thing every week you cringe af
Simmer down now, little buddy. 😅
Sorry, Jeff, but Indycar is much better racing than NASCAR. Even Australian V8 Supercars is better racing.
Not everyone can afford to attend a race
Move it back to ABC OR CBS or NBC
Put it back to the 1980 racing, that’s how you fix it, driver and crew chef.
Get rid of road racing permanently, go back to nascar.
