I love watching your grocery videos because I like to pause and read the tags and the labels on the food to practice reading Greek and to learn some more vocab.
If you could pause on some of the signs in future videos so that they're clearer, I'd really appreciate it! 🙏♥️

lidl has much better prices, than other greek super markets, you can tell that by seeing almost everywhere in Greece this chain. About the tap water you mentioned. It is indeed true, nobody buys bottles of water, unless they want carbonated, and the reason behind that is that our water is really clean, not only in athens but other cities aswell. Just use filter and you are ready to drink from your tap water. :)

Yes they have good prices. Even so, my aunt shops at AB because she thinks all the products from Lidl come from Germany or other places. If you look at my video, you can see they label the products from Greece with a Greek flag next to the price on the shelf. There are a lot of products from Greece there.

@@ToGoIsToKnow it dipends from where you go, the best cheaper chains in Italy for me are Eurospin and Md. Then Ins and Dipiu'. All italian. They make 25/30% discount on a lot of products every 10 days and their prices are locked in all italian towns, from Rome to the latest village in Italy. If you' ll have a trip back again in Italy, remember this and also to buy only 100% italian grain pasta made by "al bronzo" way. The same for oil, not european mixed oils, but only 100% extra virgin italian olive oil. The quality is very, very higher for few cents for pasta and few euros for oil more. I think you can get residency pretty easily, but a few things to remember. After staying for 6 months they will want you to pay taxes as a resident and you will still be required to file taxes in the US as well. That problem alone makes me not want to stay for more than six months.
