As long as she is singing old or Ilayaraja's songs only, she will be in bright spot. But once she starts singing under modern composers, her popularity will disappear. Because now there are no good composers at all, who can utilise her gifted voice. A good composer can bring a beautiful song
even from a normal singer. Ofcourse
she can her money. But good tune and good song she can't expect. That is what my belief. May God bless her.

Excellent work all round. Muzik Lounge should keep up this kind of good work. Original version will be much appriciated. For people like me, yearn for Illayaraja Sir work. But for people like me who owns high grade audio amplifiers and speakers with acoustic treated room, listening to Illayaraja music with such high technical quality is heavenly, nothing less. Thanks to Singer Ramya Duraiswamy , Instrumentalists , studio engineers and the whole team.
I live and love music Sir. Please tell me what equipment and brands I should buy for my home music room to be able to hear the nuances in music and songs. Asking you since you already have the required equipment. Your valued inputs will save me the trouble of looking for the right equipment.
@@arunanarayan6177 I have Music Fidility M6I Amplifier with Monitor Audio Silver Tower speakers. Excellent performance. In my opinion I am getting more performance out of these equipment because of the acoustically treated room I have for my home theater. If you have expensive Audio equipment and the acoustics are poor , then you will miss out a lot.

In those days particularly when these movies were remade in other languages, people could not follow the fine details of HIS music. Now, we understand howmuch HE might have struggled to compose these songs. Looks like there is real improvement in playing of instruments and recording now.

The original bassline of this song is too good and perhaps could have been sticked to. Not much to complain otherwise (though not sure if the Maestro would approve those new age electronic tones to be added in between - yes he did add electronic notes but was careful to make them not stick around like a sore thumb :) )
Anyway it is young talents who have done this work and so I don't want to too critical. Good job folks :)
Clement Daniels Sir, I am first a fan of IR, and I am a fan of you as well. You sir, have the gift and knack of putting words to emotions. May I dare you to write a book on Ilayaraja's musical journey? Take his some of his most iconic songs from 70s, 80s,90s, 2000s and delight us with you putting your words on marveling at his chord progressions, counterpoints, arrangements, instruments selection etc. For example In oru iniya manadhu isayai acanthus chellum, the starting guitar and drums (dum dum dum daam)after Sujatha finishes la la, is simply hypnotic, mesmerizing and creates some inexplicable magic inside me.... I can describe some 1000s of IR songs like this....
