I love seeing the super-tomatoes spamming the map when the only remaining member on the team is a unicum. There's something so hilariously incongruous there XD
+PeRSCiTio I agree. I don't use it either... It kinda spoils the game for me, and do not find it really fair to be honest. Although it can really make a difference knowing what you are up against (for better or for worse). It can moralize a team and make it over confident or it can demoralize, or even make you try and play your best. Ignorace may be a blessing or a curse in this case, depends on the the person/team.
+Wolfdude 11 Or they view seal clubbing as a massive sin. Not to say that it's right to do, but sometimes when you've been having a bad string of games, or it seems that you're the only person on your team actually trying, a spot of seal clubbing does wonders to improve your frayed nerves. Just not too much lol.
+MegaMrKaya i dont think you can do a video without getting dislikes, some people click the dislike button cuz they dont like the video, some click it cuz they dont like you, some click it cuz *their* replay didnt show up, etc etc.
kismacska23 Because I enjoy the game on the whole. I'm not a fantastic player, just so-so, but on a streak of bad games or luck where nothing seems to work out, even the best players can feel frustrated. But is that the game's fault? Not at all! It's because of players who seem to have left their senses somewhere in the basement that's giving me the frayed nerves, and I'm not about to give them the time of day by not playing. Besides, win some, lose some, I've had good streaks too, so it's all good.
+Double D WN9 should count gold use aswell so we can see whose the real one but it's our own fault if we play a freetoplay game, which is actually one of the best on the market.
The T40 can use 75mm. 75mm is a much better gun than 105 mm derp. Positives for 75mm gun: 1.)Penetration 128 AP/177 APCR 2.)Shell velocity 3.)Dispersion at 100m is 0.4 ,much better than over 0.5 duspersion at 100m of a derp gun 4.)Gun elevation is 30°,5° better than derp gun 5.) The derp gun has realy bad depresion of 3°,the 76mm has realy good depresion of 10°
I loved my T40 when I was grinding up the tiers- I had mine before the view range hit, and even before the massive HE/Derp gun hit, but I still found it to be a better vehicle with the M1a1 76mm Gun- at Tier 4. You could oh-so-easily abuse the view range in combination with the not terrible camouflage rating of this vehicle (since it's basically a chopped M3 Medium hull with the superstructure and turret removed) and pick enemy tanks off before they even saw you. Before I even knew about spotting mechanics I abused this feature- because back then the view range of this allowed you to put a shot or two into a target at extreme range- and at that tier few vehicles could spot you back. Now even after the view range reduction- if you use concealment properly, you can still abuse tanks at and below your tier easily, and the M1a1 is vastly superior to the 105 Howitzer when facing Tiers V and VI... since it is the same gun found on the M4 series.
I used to love T40 before view range nerf, although with the 76. the shell velocity is just too slow on the derp. If i wanna derp at tier 4, there's no beating the hetzer.
I love the t40 get 3-4 kills everytime i play it . Even if it dosnt pen it causes critical most times love targeting the kv's from cover . This tank is a beast.
I love to see you using 4-8 tanks because that's where myself and many others hit the wall of 'oh god i need to play 60 games just to buy the gun' so seeing how to play these tanks well will help make the grind a little quicker.
Thanks for the vid, QB. I enjoy the mid-tier videos, which are a nice help. Quality vids on these tiers are a lot harder to find. I promised myself about a year ago that I wouldn't advance on any line unless I had an Ace rating in that tank, and a couple have been a real challenge (I actually cheated a bit and left the AMX-38, useless piece of crap that it is). Any Quick Reviews would be appreciated as well. As always, great quality and content.
I actually use the 76mm on my T40. I like to snipe with it. I really like the firing ark this thing has. You can literally aim around corners with it, especially to the right.
T40 has become one of my favorites. It can even be a pretty good adversary to a tier 6 tank. Granted it takes more shots on a T6 tank, but I have taken out my fair share of T6 tanks with a T40. I do use the 105 mm gun most of the time. Except for the critical hit count I get at a high percentage of times, (thanks WoT :/ ) the T40 is still phenomenal.
+The Warlord of the Rising Sun I too played it mostly with the 76mm M1A1 since I wanted to get myself accustomed to that gun since I would be using it on the Wolverine as well. The 105mm I did use while I was grinding for the M1A1, but I was kind of a noob back then and didn't like it. I stopped playing it for months but eventually got it back after I had become a better player and did pretty well with it.
So if I understand correctly, what a low-tier player wanting to learn something from this video to get better at the game can take away from this replay, it would be to: - Have 100% crew against people who usually at most have 70-80% crews, - Spend around 600.000 credits on equipment and premium consumables -Use a few premium rounds I'm not saying that the video wasn't educational or wasn't enjoyable. But maybe, just maybe, it would have been more interesting to watch in a more realistic playing field, with a fresh crew of credit-bought 75% crew and maybe just a camo-net as equipment. That would better illustrate what you can expect from a tank like this at tier IV, since not a lot of people spend gold on 100% crew or play these tanks for long enough to develop their crew that much before moving on to the next tier.
I was thinking: I must have seen this game before! Then he started reversing back on the slope to spot that Pz. b2 and I finally remembered, this was a poll tank game on twitch!
Great vid quality, QB. And a very good battle vid. Keep up the great work on your channel, you are rapidly coming up on 300k subscribers, I remember the days a few years ago when you had a few thousand. ;-)
QuickyBaby! This quality definitely seems to be the best looking (at least on my screen (17" 1080p laptop)) compared to other more recent videos. they almost looked soap-opera-esque, very strange kind of lagging or screen stretching feel to it. But this video played really well, clear, etc. Keep up the fantastic videos! Love your live stream as well.
This really is a great team training tank. I don't use the derp gun, but instead opt for more accuracy. I find it works better for me as a sniper rather than a derp brawler. I have seen a lot of players leave the game early trying to use tactics that Quickybaby was able to capitalize on. You have to be pretty good to play that close in with this on other maps for instance. If you want a low tier tank to train your new replacement crews as you move up the line, the T40 works well.
Sealclubbing at its finest :) No matter what - well done QB! And guys...stop whining about premium ammo. QB doesnt spam it, he fires it only when he really needs it. You should too.
The T40 was a favorite of mine for quite a while, but it didn't really come alive for me until I switched from the Derp gun to the 76mm M1. I may have to revisit this vehicle... low-tier content is fine with me, btw. I was just thinking the other day about the lack of it on your channel.
As an artillery player I like people like Jingles and Quickybaby, they may HATE artillery, but they recognize the use of them on their own team and while thier fire rate might be really low they can reduce an enemies hitpoints by 50% or more leaving you with less to deal with... and all you have to do is spot for them and attempt to keep them alive
QuickyBaby stop talking about the front armor when you have no idea what you're talking about. Only the lower front below the fender level has 51 mm, the middle is less and the entire upper front armor is only 19 mm. Viewed from a higher angle, this area is bigger as it includes the flat area underneath your gun barrel.
***** WTF? Historian? Do you even tanks.gg bro? How about Tank Inspector? He has HOURS to do nothing but prepare informed commentary, and it's too much to ask for a quick couple clicks into tank inspector to glance at one vehicle? Hell he wouldn't even have to do that. If he had simply actually shot HE at T40s and paid attention before, he'd have learned that they go in more than 50% of the time.
***** I'm not hating, I'm providing constructive criticism. Checking facts that you base an entire several minutes of talking off of is one of the easiest and most important things you can do to improve your channel. How will he realize his credibility is slipping if nobody tells him? If he becomes full of shit should we all just unsub leaving him having know idea why?
+JWQweqOPDH "QuickyBaby stop talking about the front armor when you have no idea what you're talking about." That really doesn't sound like constructive criticism. Maybe you want to make a RUclips channel to prove him wrong as well?
good to see this is still viable in the tier 4 meta after it's gigantic view range nerf, I feel that tier 4 is spoiled by the Matilda and thr Hetzer, just because of how crazy their dominance is, And to a lesser extent the far more skill based Luchs (any good player top tier in a luchs, should really get at least 3 kills or a lot of damage)
The t40 has always been my favorite tier 4 but i never realized it used to have that monster view range. Never really bothered to check the stats once i had so much fun in it.
I like the T40: It's fast, its 76mm gun is quite effective and has a good rate of fire. The vision nerf is still offset by binoculars and cautious play.
If your talking about low tiers, the Bishop is definitely my choice for clubbing, good armour, fantastic health pool (for arty). its only weakness is speed, but good map awareness solves that.
It could be cool to see a highligh on the matilda, that beast of a tier for with it's amazing amour, even if a bit slow. Also a luch could be nice to see, as it got that great auto cannon, and really those two tanks, are really strong.
I would have to agree with you QB that you are seal clubbing at this tier. But there are plenty of other players with 10K matches who come down here to do the exact same thing. Perhaps when you want to highlight a lower tier tank, you could consider using a player submitted video who has a lower WN8 rating so you can assuage your guilt.
+Art Ochoa Once I had a platoon of three Pz B2s against me and after the battle I checked their stats and all of them had over 77% overall winrate and over 85% winrate in their Pz B2s. One of them had 91% winrate in his Pz B2. They had only 2 or 3 op tanks that they had played huge amount of battles probably in 3 man platoon every single game. One of them even had a nick Stat_Padder
+Art Ochoa QB said two things in this video. 1. He doesn't play these tiers very often. 2. He really likes the T40. I'm sure that a part of him did want to play this game and revisit the lower tiers, otherwise he wouldn't have stated that he was so fond of the T40. He wanted to have some fun with this tank and not just upload a video. Otherwise he would have done exactly that and uploaded someone else's video.
I am working my way up the tech trees slowly and as I play morethan one line I'm up to 8500 games with 4 x tier 8 tanks. I enjoy playing some of the lower tier tanks I have played through on my way up along with my locust which is my guilty pleasure. I'm definitely not stat padding, I'm having fun where I'm not going to have half my team raging if I want to go ham. You tend to meet friendly players at lower levels. Oh, while I remember. QB, if you are seal clubbing, which this replay is, leave the gold at home.....
+Chris Snowdon I think the Locust is the guilty pleasure of anyone who has ever owned that thing. I used to argue the M3 Stuart was a better platform for that gun, but I recently acquired the Locust again and realized it's so much better...
earned 2 Kolobanov's in my T40 before it was nerfed, altho the kills in those matches was at a reasonable close range so the nerfed view range would have had no effect. Of course I was not using the derp gun as QuickyBaby does
I love my T40. I prefer the 76 mm AT Gun M1A1 over the 105. I feel its more dependable (thought the 105 is arguably funner), especially in low tier games. has the pen to still do reliable amage.
surprising to see you play a lower tier ,but a good match, a little seal clubbing perhaps. Still would be cool to see some more lower tier after these last few patches though . great video just the same Quick
Hetzers and Lees against my PzB2? They can cause problems, but I'm threading the needle far more often against the front of a Hetzer than the Lee's unused turrets. The WoT dynamic would be very changed if all these secondary guns suddenly became usable.
QuickFingers my friend, can you do a review on the much overlooked VK30.02M? It's a very interesting medium and you don't do enough mid tier videos, let alone the Germans at that tier. Thanks, :).
If you feel the T40 is a terrible tank might I suggest you view my T40 battles on my channel. To each his/her own though. Watching my replays may (or may not) provide some insight into how to play the T40. Personally it's one of if not my favorite tank to play. The replay on Redshire map was an interesting battle.
I still love the T40. I don't get all the angst about playing the lower tiers. Is there some law against it? And besides, you will find a whole lot of people down there with over 10k games. But I believe if I enjoyed a tank in the lower tiers, then I'm going to play it. What is funny too is to see the obvious re-rolls hanging out at those tiers for a long time to build their stats and crew skills before moving up. So it is no longer seal clubbing down there. And for those who didn't pay money early on in the game (right after beta) going back to do things like build stats and crews is not bad either. Taking a tank that maybe only got played 2 or 3 times, all losses, then cast aside for the next tank in line because gotta move up to that tier 10 as fast as possible and playing it again is fun. Sometimes. So go for the low tiers. I bet you'll get your ass kicked down there a few times.
Actually it is possible to one-hit B1/2 frontally with a 10,5cm howitzer c: And the only moments i use HEAT on those short howitzers is when stuff like "there is a half-HP KV-1 urinating in my direction, better use HEAT" happens.
With all the 1200-1800 damage per shot arty in T10 it's actually not that much fun anymore playing T10 tanks. Until the arty rework that is or in Strongholds/Clanwars. I've personally switched back to T7-8 light tanks and T7-T9 medium tanks. They are currently the most fun and actually about gameplay rather than hiding for arty and getting punished for aggressive play. Occasionally I play low tiers, but only on secondary accounts.
Quicky you say you like a challenge well I don't think playing T9 when there is only ever tanks one tier higher than you or T10 where you will always be top tier a challenge. Playing only T8 for a month would be a start but grinding up to T8 on any line without equipment and only cheap consumables or none would be a challenge (without tooning). This would be an excellent way of showing players what they can do with basic kit and how they can help their team even when they are bottom tier in the most unsuitable tank for a particular map.
Yeah, if you want to show people how to drive a tank, show them how the tank is. Not how it is when you shell out 20 bucks in gold to fully train the crew skills, trade for the credits to buy all the best equipment, and use free XP to unlock everything on it already.
I love seeing the super-tomatoes spamming the map when the only remaining member on the team is a unicum. There's something so hilariously incongruous there XD
+Alex Adragna Not everyone has xvm
+PeRSCiTio I agree. I don't use it either... It kinda spoils the game for me, and do not find it really fair to be honest. Although it can really make a difference knowing what you are up against (for better or for worse).
It can moralize a team and make it over confident or it can demoralize, or even make you try and play your best. Ignorace may be a blessing or a curse in this case, depends on the the person/team.
"With binoculars, you can still get it up."

MisdirectedSasha *Sniffles* ... so .. wise... such a good quote
why haters why? 18 dislikes in more than a hour
haters gonna hate
quikybaby youre the best!
Because they're whiners that think 3 premium shells at top tier tanks is too much
+Wolfdude 11 Or they view seal clubbing as a massive sin.
+Tenshi2akuma Why do you even play a game if it gives you "frayed nerves"?
kismacska23 Because I enjoy the game on the whole.
"with binoculars you can still get it up" -Quickybaby 2015
Utter5000 some one else commented that...
If you don't think it's fair, then don't shoot HEAT. Most of the players in this match probably don't even know about premium ammo.
it is not that hard to kill with he i should now
! went searching for t40 replays recently, thanks for putting this up qb, i loved my t40, what a gun!
Change speed to 0.5 and watch the facecam for a drunk QuickyBaby.
Nearly died laughing
Tom K lol.... he’s gonna be hungover next vid ;_;
Iam sad that quickbaby shots Gold ammo so often... :( i nearly never use gold ammo!
+Double D 3 premium shells against top tier tanks isn't really excessive. I still made a decent profit this game :)
But you have Premium and enough Money ;)
+QuickyBabyTV I believe 1 or 50, it doesnt matter. You use it. Thats his point.
+Double D WN9 should count gold use aswell so we can see whose the real one but it's our own fault if we play a freetoplay game, which is actually one of the best on the market.
+Double D stop whining pleb
I never realized the t40 was that good, i always felt the hetzer was better. I will have to try it out.
The T40 can use 75mm. 75mm is a much better gun than 105 mm derp.
Positives for 75mm gun:
1.)Penetration 128 AP/177 APCR
2.)Shell velocity
3.)Dispersion at 100m is 0.4 ,much better than over 0.5 duspersion at 100m of a derp gun
4.)Gun elevation is 30°,5° better than derp gun
5.) The derp gun has realy bad depresion of 3°,the 76mm has realy good depresion of 10°
I loved my T40 when I was grinding up the tiers- I had mine before the view range hit, and even before the massive HE/Derp gun hit, but I still found it to be a better vehicle with the M1a1 76mm Gun- at Tier 4. I used to love T40 before view range nerf, although with the 76. the shell velocity is just too slow on the derp. If i wanna derp at tier 4, there's no beating the hetzer.
Hey Quickybaby! Just wanted to say good job and how much better the video quality is. Keep on being awesome!!!
back in early 2012 I did a 1v6 in the T40 and still think that was my most epic battle. That is why I have never sold it.
DEAL WITH IT
I love the t40 get 3-4 kills everytime i play it . Even if it dosnt pen it causes critical most times love targeting the kv's from cover . This tank is a beast.
the Quality now is even BETTER ! Keep up the good work QB!
The AMX 40 looks EXTREMELY Round ESPECIALLY THE TURRET
Man....
Man
I love to see you using 4-8 tanks because that's where myself and many others hit the wall of 'oh god i need to play 60 games just to buy the gun' so seeing how to play these tanks well will help make the grind a little quicker.
I like the low tier replays. I've recently returned to WoT after 18 months, my garage was empty, and so I'm starting again from scratch.
I love it that you did a low tier game you shouldnt feel bad cuz it may help out some new folks and personaly low tier games are just fun
Play the King Derp SU-152
+A Dz KV2 is derp king.
+Kreivi not on my watch
+DubstepinWithSmoke yep thats tier x level of pen! is7 has 250 pen
+A Dz but heat is different
Aberness still impressive

I always thought the T40 was a good sniper, the 76 is a strong gun at tier 4. I didn't realize the 105 was so good.
+Kmash Yep, go ahead and keep using the Tier 5 derp gun on your M46 Patton...
+The Warlord of the Rising Sun I too played it mostly with the 76mm M1A1 since I wanted to get myself accustomed to that gun since I would be using it on the Wolverine as well. Nice variation on the higher tiered replays QB. You gave some solid advise even for more experienced players.
So if I understand correctly, what a low-tier player wanting to learn something from this video to get better at the game can take away from this replay, it would be to:
- Have 100% crew against people who usually at most have 70-80% crews,

Saw this when you played this game on the stream. Great game :D
Good clip, QB. A lot of info. I needed for the T-40 I just picked up.
Shoutout to the guy who keeps pinging the map by the enemy cap.
Would love to see some tier 5.....specifically the Churchill 1. Awesome new computer BTW!
I really like the new rendering quality. You should give a few tips to Jingles, as he seems to be having a few issues with it at the moment :D

Lol
did you watch to the end? if not gtfo
Yay T-40 wins!! I like that little TD it is fun to play. Great game play there as well!!
The T40 is a cracking tank, probably my favourite tier 4, ignoring the Luchs, because, you know, Luchs :D
Luchs is Love, Luchs is life ;)...put the girls i earned from the first set of missions in this beauty...working as intendend
Just like the now gone TOG at Tier 6, TOG is love, TOG is life

Luchs OP, PLZ NERF

Can you do a review of the kv-2? Cause I love it
+Joran de weerd I point you to The Mighty Jingles
The low tier American TD's are great fun and their gun do real well!
"How many people is using premium consumables and skilled crews in WoT?"
*12 seconds later fires a HEAT shell*
Wtf QB?
I was watching when it was live. It was sick
awesome so far! i actually want to get the t40 now xD so derpy
If your talking about low tiers, the Bishop is definitely my choice for clubbing, good armour, fantastic health pool (for arty). its only weakness is speed, but good map awareness solves that.
It's the same gun as the fv304 and puts fear into the heart of kv-1 and o-i experimental drivers ;)
Jacob Pruitt
it puts fear into any tank, I recently fail platooned it into a tier 10 match and got an ace...
that it? ace? how many damage you done?
It could be cool to see a highligh on the matilda, that beast of a tier for with it's amazing amour, even if a bit slow.
Also a luch could be nice to see, as it got that great auto cannon, and really those two tanks, are really strong.
Quality of the video is excellent. Keep using this render settings. Take care.
great video quality !
+BlackHavq Re-rolls confirmed
+Chris Snowdon I think the Locust is the guilty pleasure of anyone who has ever owned that thing. I used to argue the M3 Stuart was a better platform for that gun, but I recently acquired the Locust again and realized it's so much better...
earned 2 Kolobanov's in my T40 before it was nerfed, altho the kills in those matches was at a reasonable close range so the nerfed view range would have had no effect.
Of course I was not using the derp gun as QuickyBaby does
Rediscovering lower tier games... They are a lot of fun!
title should be "unicums seal clubbing tomatoes" jk lol.
i'd love to see the chat on that one seeing the pinging like crazy i feel alot of crying
lol QB said "either the su-26 or the amx 40 is in the ENEMY cap circle"
I love my T40. I prefer the 76 mm AT Gun M1A1 over the 105. I feel its more dependable (thought the 105 is arguably funner), especially in low tier games. has the pen to still do reliable amage.
The T-40 is a Alright tank destroyer, although I have to say Use the M3 lee like a T-40 it's basically a T-40 with a turret
surprising to see you play a lower tier ,but a good match, a little seal clubbing perhaps.
Still would be cool to see some more lower tier after these last few patches though .
great video just the same Quick
wow! great quality on this vid.
Hetzers and Lees against my PzB2? They can cause problems, but I'm threading the needle far more often against the front of a Hetzer than the Lee's unused turrets. The WoT dynamic would be very changed if all these secondary guns suddenly became usable.
I remember my first, and only kolobanovs medal. 'Twas my Lloyd GC on mines XD!
QuickyBaby what canon you are having on that tank?
Oh man, one of my first really good games in wot was on a T40 with the 76mm gun. I kinda miss mine, maybe I'll rebuy it and try out the derp gun.
Video really looks good with the new PC
QuickFingers my friend, can you do a review on the much overlooked VK30.02M? It's a very interesting medium and you don't do enough mid tier videos, let alone the Germans at that tier. Thanks, :).
If you feel the T40 is a terrible tank might I suggest you view my T40 battles on my channel. To each his/her own though. Watching my replays may (or may not) provide some insight into how to play the T40. Personally it's one of if not my favorite tank to play.
The replay on Redshire map was an interesting battle.
10:30 "tier 4 french light tank... *uh*"
the amx 40 is a light tank
Actually it is possible to one-hit B1/2 frontally with a 10,5cm howitzer c:
And the only moments i use HEAT on those short howitzers is when stuff like "there is a half-HP KV-1 urinating in my direction, better use HEAT" happens.
Nice vid, but I can't help but feel sorry for that poor stock AMX 40.
the violent stedpedder strikes again
Can you please do a AMX 40 review :)
on that tank it was my first 8 kills! T40 and Hetzer are the best IV TD I love them!
Not how it is when you shell out 20 bucks in gold to fully train the crew skills, trade for the credits to buy all the best equipment, and use free XP to unlock everything on it already.
yes I could see a difference looks better than before must be the frame rate.don't know way yours look fine but jingles is having trouble with his?
should i consider using any of the other guns on the t40?
