Difference between Bengali Singara and North Indian Samosa is that....in Bengali Singara ,aloo is cubed and diced and the maida cover is thinner and light....where as in North Indian Samosa, aloo is smashed with spices and the maida cover is thicker. Also Bengali Singara contains Ground nuts and in Winter season contains Cauliflower and green peas...we Bengalis also consume Mutton keema stuffed Singara ❤❤❤

Kochu shak...meaning leaves of colocasia.....is a very special seasonal delicacy...mainly eaten during Bengali Monsoon , either as a vegetable with horse gram and garlic and nigella seeds, or as a non veg dish with Hilsa head or Shrimps and mustard paste...❤❤❤ we also eat the colocasia roots, we call it Kochu.... it can be eaten boiled or with mustard or fried or in a light fish curry jhol....chips can made as well from Kochu.

Kochu shak...meaning leaves of colocasia.....is a very special seasonal delicacy...mainly eaten during Bengali Monsoon , either as a vegetable with horse gram and garlic and nigella seeds, or as a non veg dish with Hilsa head or Shrimps and mustard paste...❤❤❤ we also eat the colocasia roots, we call it Kochu.... it can be eaten boiled or with mustard or fried or in a light fish curry jhol....chips can made as well from Kochu.
