The history behind Three Kings Day and how it's celebrated

Three Kings Day is celebrated on twelfth day of Christmas, which lands on Jan. 6 this year. One way it's celebrated is by eating a special sweet bread. KGW Sunrise reporter Chynna Greene looked into the history of the holiday and other ways that people celebrate it.

Indeed we in Quebec celebrate it.
And our Special bakeries make it very special with a golden crown.
The lovely pastry is thus cut, no one actually knows where the beautiful porcelaine market with the year in
Who ever unknown ends up with this very beautiful porcelaine precious .
Ends up to be either the king or the queen of the evening.
It's absolutely grand.

Traditionally a pea and a bean were inserted in the baking of the traditional flacky pastry, with marseypan and or apple.
A crown is put above the crown cake.
Anyone cuts it, But the surprise is when one, actually gets the items in their slice.
Whoever gets it, is named the King or Queen.
And then names, it's princess, or if a man gets it, he names his Queen.
Well, it's getting late and the party is still going on.
