Yeh baat hai early 90's (aroud 1856 or 57) Nawab Wajid Ali Shah, the last King of Awadh invited some friends or kind of like this, toh uss time pe British ne Nawab Wajid Ali Shah ko hata dia tha toh unke paas paisa jeyada nahi tha aur uss time pe meat bohot mehngi ati thi toh mehmaan ko na pata chale isiliye thora chicken aur Aloo dal ke biriyani banayi taki kisiko pata na chale ki chicken kam hai... Aur wo hi hua ki Aloo ke wajese Chicken ka pata nahi chala aur biriyani bhara hua lag raha tha. But isi bich jo hua ki Aloo mein pure biriyani ka flavour chala geya aur Aloo bhi bohaut tasty ban geya and ijat hua Aloo Biriyani/ Kolkata Biriyani 😁
