If you don’t get it a simple explanation Kick the ball with your foot touching he side of whatever leg is better for the side your kicking on then drag your foot in the ground like scraping in but sideways and aiming up

If you are a younger goalkeeper then you won't reach that distance however if you reached a older age then once you master the technique the strength comes into play next

I will say make sure your positioning is right to start with. Work on your legs strength and jumping so that you can jump higher giving yourself a better chance saving these shots. Plus don't try to kick faster , focus on having good connection on bottom of ball and on your your posture and you will definitely see good results .
It seems like the angle of the kicking foot is not in line with the shin-knee- quadriceps line...so that at the point of impact, the knee is torqued outward. How do you keep the knee from getting injured in a lateral motion while still trying to not hit the foot at a face on impact, but a side laces impact?

I think tried more height as serious and you are right about to gain more strength to further help my kicking but i still have to tried again more height to practice on this every month.

Humbly I am very good at giving good service and dropping in long balls at players feet, but after about an hour of game time or 30-45 mins of hitting long balls practice, my ankle/ leg just gives out and I can no longer hit any long balls further than like 30 yards. Is this a technique or strength issue?
Go for a straighter run up and try to hit the ball in the centre to avoid the ball from curling. You may get a little curl and that's fine. Hit the ball a little higher since you are striking the ball too low making the ball curl.
@@jokieParav yeah. If your follow through goes directly up then it may result in topspin however if your follow through lands on the other side of your planted foot then the ball gains backspin making the ball have a nice flight path and gets more distance

You might tell me to inculcate more footwork but most of the time I feel stuck and only end up jumping.

Train your quads, glutes, calves, hamstrings, and ankles as well..and then work on your technique, that's what worked for me

Both. Fatigue then prevents you from using fluent technique. Defiantly more of a strength thing.
