The servers who drop 10 orders at once are the same servers who explain to the customers, they have no idea why the food is taking so long. C'mon. They know better, they just don't care.
Right? And when 10 people come in ordering 1 pizza each (or every some compilation of a few people getting a couple pizzas each) the orders are going to self stagger just based on them coming in as different orders. When one person orders a bunch of things all at once, it really screws up the flow. Technically when someone orders 10 pizzas at once, it *should* be coming all in one wave. It's impossible to do that at a moments notice. When it's going to different customers the slow roll out of food makes sense and isn't a big deal.
The pre paying for an order like that also is NOT out of the ordinary. That is a random weird suspicious order for one person to walk in randomly and order. It SCREAMS done and dash or just leaving half way through the pizzas coming out.
Ive worked at many pizza places. I could get ten pizzas in the oven in less than seven minutes. Another 8-10 minutes of oven time. Done and done. No big deal.
Theres a difference between a Pizza Place and a Bar.
Isn't that part of the good thing with pizzas? They cook relatively quickly due to the high heat of pizza ovens.

The part where recon ordering the entire menu proves the kitchen is not up to standard
If it's a small menu made from mostly fresh ingredients in a clean kitchen, it really shouldn't be that hard.
Now if it's a 50+ entree menu mostly composed of frozen food? Yeah the kitchen is gonna get quite backed up.

Bro yes finally someone who understands I cannot stand her. Yes I understand tough love and the fact that sometimes you have to do something things for a person to truly understand but you constantly throwing it back in my face not helping. Like clearly I know my business needs help if I even called you guys and im quite sure before stress test he was already yelled at and belittled by Jon so why would I want you trying to criticize. She gives the vibes of that one person who was bullied her whole life and finally realized she has control and now wants to act tough. It's almost like it's called a "stress test" for a reason. They're trying to stress the staff out as much as possible to see if they can push through anyway.

Yeah, obviously, large orders are common, and popular establishments can expect a lot of food (from multiple orders), but 11 different pizzas IN ONE ORDER is a lot, even for a large group coming in, I completely sympathize with his frustration. especially since it looks like he's the only one back there consistently.

I want to open a bar that's themed around railroads. My idea is to have model trains slowly bring the drinks out to customers' seats. Of course, the biggest problem with that idea is people messing with the trains too much. An alternative idea is to have all the tables have an acrylic or glass shell encasing a small model railroad. Each table's railroad would be differently themed and have different trains, cars, buildings, people, etc. I'm a model railroad enthusiast, as you can probably guess. I have no experience in bars other than going to a couple. I'd really love Jon Taffer's advice on how to bring my idea to life, make it fun, and make it profitable.
what a wonderful idea!! i’m not jon taffer but i will say write your ideas down and keep them close n private!! i suggest getting some bar experience or anything along those lines bc when ur a manager/ start ur business u will have to be the backbone and sharpest tool. it will also make you love it and want it even more (in my opinion) i also have a dream of opening a bar so best of luck my friend i hope to visit your bar one day!! ❤
