- The videotaping of this performance was approved by the licensing company and Dan Elish, the creator of "13 the Musical." Circle Players produced the regional premiere of "13" in April 2011..
Circle Players is the oldest community theatre organization in Nashville, started in 1949. It is a 501(c)3 volunteer organization that produces 4-5 large-scale productions each year.
Evan here-Just went through the comments for the first time after doing this show TEN YEARS AGO, and I’m so grateful for all the love everyone sent our way. Y’all just made my week. ❤️❤️

Congratulations on a great performance. This must be such a wonderful memory. I produced and amateur production of this in Australia a couple of years ago and I must have watched this video about 1000 times, as the performances from ALL the cast were so inspiring. I hope you all have enjoyed where life has taken you these past 12 years - you are all superstars.

@@daniella3478 the original musical is the same. It's a teen comedy musical. There's a bootleg on youtube with the original cast you might know like Graham Phillips, Elizabeth Gillies and Ariana Grande.

I love the special effects. Also: Evan, Patrice, Archie, Brett, Lucy, Kendra, Eddie and Malcolm are all great actors and/or singers. Especially, Patrice. That girl has some serious pipes on her.

In most productions Archie usually has the only good guy voice... but I am pleasantly surprised that Brett, Evan, and Archie all had good voices =)

Hi everyone! I’m four years too late here, but I just discovered this video was on RUclips. The rest of the cast and I are all shocked to see how many people have watched our production! Thank you for watching, and we are glad so many of you have enjoyed it. I wanted to leave a comment here with the cast list. Hopefully @circle1949 will pin it. everyone’s talking about the girl who plays patrice but ARCHIE!! he not only looks the part, has amazing vocals, but he’s so funny! i was watching because i’m doing this at my school and i am definitely using this as my inspiration for whatever character i may get.

Oh my god. The excellent phrasing, the natural deadpan, the intuitive understanding of the script....this is a hundred times better than the bootleg of the Broadway production I just watched. Wow. WHO is their director?
Mac Weilman the script is a book you buy for the rights to do the show

People keep saying that this is one of the best versions on YT. They are very wrong. This is THE best version on YT. It was choreographed incredibly (Especially the Fiddler on the Roof part in Being a Geek), the vocals were the literal best I've ever heard, and the acting was funny and amazing! I'm about to perform 13 myself, and I'm auditioning for Evan. I can't stop getting over how amazing this cast is!

I always find it ironic that the kids who are actually 12-13 don't get the part of the kid who is actually their age cause they have to wait till their older to get a main part 😂

I've seen a lot of bootlegs of 13 (and have played basically every girl in it; Patrice, Lucy, Kendra, Cassie, Charlotte, Molly) and the person who played Patrice was INCREDIBLE!

I loved 1:40:37 it was adorable and I couldn't stop laughing after Archie's face for no reason. It was just extremely relatable because all of my friends are dating people and I'm kinda like "if that's what it is, then that's what it is" 😂

Ok, so I'm playing Archie rk now in thirteen so I've been watching lots of bootlegs and the broadway show on youtube and honestly this Archie was better than the broadway Archie I just hope my adaption can be as good as yours!!!!!
Coming here after watching the Netflix movie and wishing there was a ProShot of the real thing. This is still the next best option out there.

Everybody in this performance is outstanding, but the Archie here has absolutely ruined all other Archies for me. His acting style and comedic delivery feels sooo organic which makes everything 10x funnier! Still, brilliant job all around to everyone involved. This is definitely going to be my go-to production of 13 on youtube!
