Wish I could show you my peach tree I started it when you made this. It's three inches tall it's so exiting when you grow food. I never knew you take the seed out if the shell and put wet paper towel and place in a bag and check once rooted plant it in a three inch pot and go up when it grows. I learned so much on buying like you did. My grandkids enjoy peaches in Jell-O. What a gift tree's give.

I can my peaches and pears in Apple juice so not all that sugar. Also was taught to put a peach pit in each jar told it made peaches taste better. I got a box of peaches like you did, hulls, just mashed them and made peach sauce, like Apple sauce. Nice to see young home makers canning. Made blackberry, strawberry, raspberry mix together jam. Yum, so good. Colander berries to get some seeds out.

I luv watching people can stuff. I have to admit I have never canned. I want to start 😫 and have things on my shelf ready. I ended up buying an electric Presto digital pressure canner and haven't even used it yet. I watch u and Becky and Jamerrill and a couple others but I still haven't got started. I just can't do anything like I use to. I can barely walk and everything is just extremely difficult. I just need to sit my butt in a chair and.get some things together and start canning and not put it off anymore. 🙃

I have an automatic electric canner. There is a learning curve to it. You are going to love it. Watch Rose Red Homestead because she has a demo on how to use it. She also explains the science behind the process. The smaller batches are perfect for me because I am in my 70's. I don't have any mobility problems, but I don't have the stamina I used to. The peaches were $30 a case. The vanilla peaches were roughly $2.50 each. They took a whole case plus a little extra for the sugar and spices. I don't think that ended up too bad!

Your food looks good BUT, PLEASE watch the salt. You are a young mother like I was now years later because of salt I'm on three high blood medications. I make green beans with bacon also but once they cook for awhile you can taste the salt in it . I now watch how much goes into my food. I use alot of garlic in many different ways, onion powder.
Enjoy the meals just less salt, your body will get through it.
