Fable never had a CAC's. Instead, their features changed based on the choices you made in the game. If you were more of a good character, you got more angelic features, and if you played an evil character, you got more demonic features. The only beginning choice you had was a male or female in Fable 2 and 3, and in the original Fable, you played a set male character that becomes more angelic if you were a good person, (got a halo and a blue aura)and more demonic if you played a bad person, (got horns and a red aura).
While not to the extent of something like BG3 or Skyrim, in Fable 2 & 3 you can be either a male or female hero and then you can customize by buying clothes, hairstyles, and tattoos. Not exactly the most robust system, but more freedom than some other titles in the genre.
