I'm a McLaren fan but red bull can get it done in short testing so no excuse for the other big teams
1400 people, half a billion invested, and all they can say is, we have build something but we do not understand how we can get it to work right. 🤣😂 I could have build something similar that doesn't work either for half the price.
They had 3 full days of testing in Bahrain, 3 practices in Bahrain, quali and race, 3 practices in Jeddah, quali and race and were not able to find a setup that worked as it should. They are completely lost and hoping for a magical silver bullet in some random experiment. The time for experiments was during winter, the year has started and they are still in testing in Bahrain mode. It's bad.
No worries, soon Toto will cry to the FIA for some new rule that helps them and punishes everyone else.

No,its the Max show another championship,so much for close racing and overtaking.
That was always going to happen when Honda pretend to leave the sport but carry on improving the engine not bound by the development restrictions, then after building the best engine Redbull threatening to leave the sports if the engines aren't frozen. Just in time for the new aero rules with the only designer with previous ground effect experience.
They should never change the rules like they do, they should evolve them bit by bit so no 1 team gets ahead like as always happens after a complete new start.

@@mrb3483 I used to like Redbull. but wasn't to keen on them constantly demanding(& got) rule changes when they were shit & now there on top they cry at the mere suggestion of a rule change, hate double standards nearly as much as whining cheats & bad sportsmanship.
Feel sorry for Renault who agreed to freeze the engine development as Redbull made out there engine was crap but now renault are 15hp down & Redbull won't let them catch up

Mercedes is prob throwing the 24/25 to the bin, and going to focus HARD on the engine changes for 26+ like they did for hybrid era, cuz thats the ONLY part theyve ever had better compared to other teams on grid. Even when they were dominating, their car COULD NOT FOLLOW for their life, their aero has always been rubbish, they won cuz they had a way more powerful engine only.

Hamilton has always been a whiner.
It's clear Mercedes has lost their way. Hard to say why. True they have lost a lot of engineers over the past several years and that is bad for engineering and race-car setup. Toto is beginning to look like he is part of the problem as well. It appears this season will be a write-off.

You have to wonder if Merc is a horribly managed team and Toto is overrated. 2 years without a race win and still can’t figure out how to get the most out of a ground effects car. Lewis continues to make excuses while Russel continues to out qualify him and finish higher and in the driver points. Now I hear they are more concerned with the 2026 car. Sounds like Toto is conceding the nest 2 seasons.

Hamilton wanted a long term contract and become an ambassador. Mercedes did not want that. And gave him a 2 year contract. So…he did not get what he wanted….Mercedes knew this was potentially going to happen. Byebye….

The stupidest thing ever is limiting testing almost to nothing! This forces teams to develop cars almost blindly and this is more evedent with most of the teams who are not familiar with ground effect cars which the aero data can not be modeled to corelate with real world. We have evidenced cars for 3 years to oscilate in f1 tracks that should have been the top motorsport series.
But it hasn’t hampered Red Bull
@v4panigale26 Redbull is the exception who got it right and went miles away! Now others are playing catch up and use the actual races to develop the car, and every year is faster. Ferrari, Merc and Aston have all changed their concept and started on new platform while redbull developed further and gained more speed. I admire the work they have done but it's a one team show in every race.
If Mercedes would not listen to Lewis starting 2022, he's done the right thing and got out of a sinking ship.
