I definitely enjoyed Poptropica as a kid, even with the difficulty I had in most of the islands, but I understand why Connor didn't find it interesting. It's a game for kids and nostalgia is all I feel for it so I don't see anyone getting much out of it except actual kids
@@ShadowOfMassDestruction as a kid, it was the first "solve the easter egg"/story progression/puzzle kind of game, with some cool boss fights and mechanics in a lot of the islands. there were also some special items you could keep if you beat the islands, mostly just cosmetic stuff you earned and could buy that looked really cool which you could use to dress up your character.
I would like to add that not only the uploader is doing a good and timmy job and also making great thumbnails but also cutting all the BRB so there is no adds, can make for such a nice side video to watch while working

Pause Ahead and Tower of Heaven are the two most enjoyable games from my past. My favourite achievement as a youngster was completing Pause Ahead 100%.
the old poptropica was so much better then the one you first played. they updated it to hell and took away all the good islands and all the customization so they could turn the whole thing into an advertisement for random stupid shit. even the second version you played they ruined. the premise is that you go to the different islands and solve puzzles. it was peak as a kid. especially the fountain drink machine that let you change the colour of your hair. and the island where you literally fight zeus. i spent hours on this as a kid outside of school. seeing the loading screen really takes me back
