Hello! I bought a Flama, but when I turn down the volume pedal, even the delay reverb disappears... When I press down lightly to use the volume technique, it doesn't go smoothly, but rather cuts out... Can someone please tell me? ㅠㅠ
Great tutorial. Question 1: Can I replace a block with another effects block? For example, instead of just turning off the amp or cab block, can it be replaced with another delay or other effects in the chain? Like if I want a chain to have 2 different delays or 2 different distortions. Question 2: Can it be connected to a midi controller like the mvave chocolate midi?
Im curious Why turned off the cabsim if connected into the front of the amp? What if i want to turn it on, what would happened, and if i want to turn it on, where should i connect if i dont want direct to the mixer?
As far as I know, the reason to turn it off is for avoid hissing sound from the FX chain, because in that case, you're using two cabs in series, one from the pedalboard and another from the amp itself. Nothing can stop you from doing it, but it will sound, from my experience, a little bit dull in comparison, but it depends on the cabs you use. In my case, I used a 4x12 Mesa Boogie cab sim and my 35W Orange 1x12 amp, and that killed all my High-End that I had to fix in EQ, which was very tedious. It's a recommendation to turn off the cab sim for front connection to use the cab from your own amp, with all the effects from the pedalboard, or you can connect it from the FX Loop and use it as a preamp. The cab sim is very useful for, precisely, direct connection to the mixer or console, to skip the amp "microphoning" process, or for when you don't have an amp available at that moment.
@lucioagesilao4723 thanks thats help a lot. I have the same amp an orange 35rt. My cabsim is tomsline shaper, still dont have an ampsim yet. All my pedals go straight to the front. Once my ampsim arrived ill transfer it all on the return of my orange 35.
I think I may be able to replace my Digitech RP-80 now..👍
This FX unit is about to blow up.
The interface for this pedal seems a lot simpler than a lot of the other multi-effects I’ve seen lately.
The pedal button for on off the wah, doesn't work on flamma fx200 😢
I got mine and its just a blast. i wonder could you please do a video about the firmware update? i dont get that right. thanks in advance. 🤩
