this really made me realise where we live in a world that's constantly changing, there's always that one song we go back to, and it never changes. this is one of them.
The man I loved was killed two years ago today and even though this is about science and not addiction it seems like a metaphor. Before he passed he said I’m sorry I let my addiction get in the way of our relationship. I want to make things right with you even if it’s just as friends. I saw him that weekend for the last time and told him I loved him and then shortly after he died. I miss him today and this came on and I never heard it like this before. Made me feel like he was here.
That's so depressingly sad I'm truly sorry for your lost...stay strong and don't give up fighting the pain he's always gonna watch over you no matter what....i lost my grand father from a heart i still miss him at 24 years old but thanks to him ,he taught me how to be a surviving warrior soldier trooper he loved me and strengthen me to be a man and face up to battles like one,i would have been this powerful and and ambitious with out his tough love and discipline to set me straight all those years ago too.

This is not the best version but it becomes it in the right moments. That's what i love about it. Last day I was so depressed, so down. I remember myself in the kitchen, not knowing what to cook, what to do... I was listening your "halleluja cover" (wonderful), so this song came up automatically like the next one. And I was just so surprised, so in that.. I just took a glass and filled it with good red wine. I not usually drink, like at all, but I just suddenly knew it was right. So there was me and the glass of wine and your quite voice. Nothing seemed so perfect, nothing seemed touching me. A moment of perfect peace. When this song first came out I was on a flight back to home after being away for two months. The light was hitting clouds and all i could think about was seeing my girlfriend and was making love to her. I felt like I was flying into my future. 20 years later she is my wife… and I found out she had a recently had an affair. Going through all the pain and trauma I really know what the lyrics are about now. I just wish I was a scientist and could go back to the start. Sorry to put a downer on a very beautiful song… but it really speaks to my pain.

20 years later she is my wife… and I found out she had a recently had an affair. Going through all the pain and trauma I really know what the lyrics are about now. I just wish I was a scientist and could go back to the start.
