Breathe.
Life is throwing curveballs as we’re currently weathering a season of loss(es). No way I have any words to articulate yet, my heart just yearns specific things right now and one is to create. This piece was a spontaneous reaction, but a step in processing. When @mar.omin's “When I’m Gone” came on shuffle it struck so hard that Mari and I just started shooting. God knows our souls needed it. And will still need more. I’m good, we’re good… in fact we’re freaking blessed and full of gratitude. But all this to just share in real time that it’s far from pretty all the time. Inhale. Exhale. Keep going.

I've been a fan for many years, so I hope this doesn't get received as unduly harsh or unnecessarily negative; but, for me, the dominance of quick cuts in the video take away from Keone's kinetic burst style.
For me, it seems like Keone's explosive movements pop more when the camera & editing are more restrained, allowing the choreography to do the work.
It's been clear over the years that Keone strives to explore more diverse ways of expressing his creative spirit, which I applaud; but this was, for me, less successful, as I am more interested in watching his organic physical prowess, than flashy camera work.
Still, tremendous effort as always.
