- A piece inspired by our grandparents who came to America to make a new life for their families and the many displaced humans around the world who are trying to do the same.
Thank you to our incredible team of talent and creatives, who in 5 rehearsals/10 days, were able to make this vision come to life. Also thank you to Vibe for being such a consistent stronghold to our community and Segerstrom Theatre for being extremely accommodating to our team.

This is not dance. It's not a performance. It's more, much more. Keone & Mari have been able to surpass all categories into a higher level of artistic expression. This is powerful, artistic, unbridled, unapologetic, deeply intimate and deeply emotional. This piece does what all great art has always been able to do. It speaks directly to the human spirit and leaves us spellbound and changed.

I have loved this video ever since I came across it a couple years ago.
Fast forward, I live in NYC and had the privilege of taking Selene’s and Isidro’s class and TODAY I just realized she performs in this piece!!!!
That was honestly the greatest most inspiring and motivating dance piece I've ever felt.
I have legitimatrly never felt anything like this before in my life. I got chills through the ENTIRE video. it was absolutely insane. I am a singer at at Berklee College of Music, but I feel like I have always wanted to learn how to dance and express myself through movement. Whenever I get discouraged, I always come back to your videos to get inspiration. I am currently choreographing my first piece (Ever- It's SO much harder than I thought! You guys are literal geniuses), Thank you so much for everything you do, I love you more than words can describe❤️

Oh my gosh, I’m crying lol. Especially that first half, but also the very end got me all emotional. Beautiful message and choreography. That routine on the boat, that was so creative! They flowed so well; it’s amazing how much dynamic you can put in simply by having people crouch and stand.
Wonderful piece. This performance is a true representation of modern art at it's finest. Thank you for talking for those, that have lost their voices in these chaotic times. The whole crew did an amazing job. *cries out of respect and joy*

The way they use groups and individuals in this dance is so awesome! I love the part at 4:02. Also when they start dancing together at 4:25, I just get chills! This music too! I can’t get over this!
