It's interesting that Steve went down fairly quick compared to the others, despite being considered to be one of the most broken and powerful characters in recent memory. Guess it goes to show that Steve is only really good if you've bothered to learn all the tech behind him, which... let's face it, the game's standard CPUs aren't going to do, even at level 9.
Coney was definitely playing onwards even after losing more than 5 stocks in total. Look at most of his 64 to Melee plays, those were like 6 to 7 stock losses and he still was pushing cuz he just wanted to win the challenge.
