- Brian from Apex Detail needs no introduction. But I'd never met him until this year's Creator Summit, and so I had the pleasure to speak with him about his story. We also talked about why he rarely, if EVER, compounds paint anymore. Oh, and he tells about his life-changing experience -- how he recovered from a stroke and dominated RUclips!

Fantastic interview. This is what I love to see. Brian is an amazing person. Thank you.
You bet! Thank you so much for watching
I agree with you about the fact that daily driver cars are bread and butter and people are VERY enthusiastic about their cars. I love cars too...
It was crazy to hear he’s not really into deep compounding and sanding OEM cars anymore ….clear costs really are getting thin
@@HawkProDetailing agreed! Great info going forward. I have basically gone one step the last year or so too.
@@HawkProDetailing I just detailed a 2019 Ford Explorer that had a hood replacement a year ago... the average paint thickness was 50 microns! The rest of the car had an average of 100 microns. I ceramic coated the hood to give it more protection, even though the client is paying for a one-step.
I really like your channel and also Brian‘s. This was a great interview and I really like the perspective. Detailing can be a great mental outlet.
Brian is the best
It was so awesome to meet him

he's got so much to teach! Super laid back, but passionate, and genuinely cares about people.
Amazing interview with Brian! It was great to hear his story and what motivates him! Very relatable! Detailing is truly a form of mediation and a stress reliever for me so I can totally relate! Nothing beats stepping back and looking at the shine!
Thanks Rob! Appreciate you spending some time with us to listen
This was a great interview. I appreciated Brian’s explanation of a one step versus a paint enhancement. Nick, I appreciated you asking the what the difference is. You seem to always ask questions that a newbie like me has.
thanks Pack! Appreciate you watching this, I'm always trying to get a simpler explanation from people I interview cause I feel like I'm always a beginner at heart. Like...if i were just starting...what would I not understand about this answer?
Great interview brother.
