Indian Air Force Ilyushin Il-78MKI | RAF Waddington

Another rare aircraft to arrive at Waddington for Exercise Cobra Warrior is this Indian Air Force Ilyushin Il-78MKI.
The aircraft is the tanker variant of the Russian built Il-78 and provided air-to-air refuelling for the IAF Mirages that also arrived yesterday.
By the time the aircraft touched down it was not far off sunset and the cloud had come in, so unfortunately the images are a little bit more grainy than usual.
