FINALLY!! Well this upload turned out to be stressful. I initially found a Japanese video walkthrough of it which was only about 4 hours, but I had no idea the dude edited out almost all of the dungeons and navigation. My video came out to about 13 hours but I edited out certain long segments where I had no idea what to do. I could write paragraphs on all the things that went wrong recording this video but it’s probably not of much interest and I’d rather discuss the game itself. The premise of the game is to capture beasts and engage in battles. The storyline involves beating bad guys as well as entering the big tournament to become champion. The combat system is rather unique in the sense that your beasts will automatically choose whether to attack, defend, use magic or flee the battle. You can influence their choices to get the upperhand in battles (this uses up one music note) but most random encounters can just be done without any input which is nice.. especially considering random encounters happen VERY frequently Anyway, as earlier mentioned, this game doesn’t really have any properly structured FAQs online (there are some inefficient livestreams with lots of clutter) so I’m happy to announce this is the first properly structured video walkthrough for the game. In all honesty, it’s a pretty awesome and fun game as long as you know what to do. Hopefully this video can help out those who are interester in giving it a try. Oh and, if any Japanese person wants to help out renaming these timecodes.. it’d be much appreciated
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how this guy did a whole playthrough of a Japanese RPG without knowing a single word of Japanese? If that's not commitment, I don't know what is.
That's crazy, I recall seeing this cart in a retro store last week. It was priced at 200 US dollars, for the cart. Maybe I just might add my first Japanese only release to the collection.
