- Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles. Here are some advanced combos for fire god Tanjiro mains. Thanks for watching guys I hope y’all can use some of my combos to get some wins in your matches. Not going to lie Hinokami Tanjiro is hitting so hard. Out of all my combo videos this one really surprised me with the damage. He is the only one I have seen so far with a legit ToD that doesn't require spamming the same two specials over and over. I refuse to fight like that it looks ridiculous. So I tried the combo I made with the most damage in base form, then tried it boosted, and surged. I figured out that if you are in surge mode it gives you just enough damage to actually kill in one combo. You only need 4 bars for the combo but you have to be in surge mode for it to kill

I have to say a long story short Thank You Bro! I have been running Hinokami Tanjiro when I first got the game (after beating the story mode ofc) and when I found this video it has really helped me with combos! I only knew 4 combos with himokami and now I know a few more. Thank You Man for the Combo Video, It has helped a lot.

@@SsjPerseus I have one question, The TOD you showed at 1:23 when I tried it, for some reason it didn't kill. Was it patched out or does it only work on Rengoku (Or something else)
@@xd_immortaldreyt4477 it hasn’t been patched. Most of the ToDs you see around will be good and will not be patched because they haven’t done any heavy nerfs on any of the characters yet. This ToD will kill any of the characters with defense equal to or lower them Rengoku’s
@@SsjPerseus Oh that makes a lot of sense, it didn't work for me cause I tried to do it on Tanjiro
Edit: After trying it on Rengoku and Akaza this TOD actually works, Also if you don't know the combo you did at 1:58 its also a TOD but it only works on characters with equal or lower defense then Rengoku (I tried it after doing the 4 Bar TOD)
so this is where those people learn their combo that destroy my hp

Not there is anything wrong with that. I’m passive when I play Rui, Hinokami Tanjiro and Inosuke

I began to recently use Hinokami a month ago and I still have som trouble with him since I tend to drop opponents by using wrong technique at bad time or canceling a technique too early, wasting bars.
He isn’t brain dead like Rengoku
His cross slash is not easy to pull off mid combo all the time.
The first two combos you did with him were my favorite.
Awesome bro I’m glad you liked them. You’re right too Hinokami Tanjiro takes some skill to get high combos. Most people play him like Rengoku and just spam there specials and his guard breaking move. I have seen some pretty flashy combos online though but it’s rare to get in a lobby with someone who knows what they are doing him. You mentioned you didnt even play as Rengoku until quite months into the game’s life cycle
Same here, I just started using him begining of this month because of the ranked challenges
He is so easy to use and I find myself winning many matches with him due to having insane damage output
His guard skill is armored and very good with stopping combos like Sabito’s whirlpool
Still, Hinokami Tanjiro is more fun to play with than Rengoku
Yea when the game first came out he was all anyone was using and getting spammed constantly by that character ruined him for me so I have never played him. Also I agree either one of the Tanjiros is more fun to play to me then Rengoku. I like him in the anime but hate him in the game lol
Just by watching your combo videos it makes want to play the game but not now since I don't have a console to play it with thanks for showcasing the combos

How do you turn on the healing thingy and the thing that can make you turn on surge or boost.
Hit start while you’re in practice mode and it will let you change the setting to always full

Boost or surge and use your light attack combo. At the end of the combo there will be a extra hit that will start the Kagura dance cutscene

Is there a way to decide if u want to use ur guard break phoenix flash or your regular one?
Yea bro you can double tab your block button or special button when you use his guard special to use the guard breaking attack. His regular one you can use by just using his guard special like you normally do with the other characters. It took me a minute to figure it out too and sometimes it’s wonky and you will do the wrong one randomly but if you want to do the guard break just double tap the buttons and it should work

I think hinokami tanjiro is a great character but hes very difficult to master hes like rengoku completely broken as fuck when you master them. I play on controller so it's harder to do certain movements than it is on mouse and keyboard. Just my opinion
Yea he hits pretty hard but some of his better combos are hard to pull off. I have done all my combo videos and online matches with a controller so all these are possible on console and pc

@@SsjPerseus the bar that charges your ultimate or boost
Just go to your settings while you’re in practice mode and change the setting to always full and it will refill after you use a bar
If you can’t find it let me know and I will try and give more in depth directions so you can find it

How do you use dance?

@@SsjPerseus what makes Rengoku not as strong as people exaggerate him is his lack of pressure. He had little to none at all

Yea I do most of them in the sub because I prefer the sub but I mix some videos in with the dub too for people who enjoy it also

The 4 bar genuine tod dosnt work
It does for sure I tested it multiple times and have a video just for it since it’s the first genuine ToD with out spamming specials multiple times. Check that video out and the description for more info and I am positive it works you have to be surged to get enough damage to get the kill and you only need 4 bars to do it
Nope it doesnt. 9642 damage in 19 hits. Its simple combo you do surge by r1+tri+tri. Then tri after first hit r1+tri and then you go into tilt+tri and then in ult. Not tod
Also its funny when you change tanjiro skin it even do less dmg.lol
Next time you upload a video like this make sure people can see damage and hit counter
@@emotherock2155 it’s just guard special into special then another guard specialist into up till special then Ultimate after the special ends. I’m not sure how it’s not coming out for you right it’s pretty easy I have even pulled it off in ranked before. Yea I started trying to do different costumes for some of the videos since I finally unlocked everything lol
