Maybe it goes smoothly with the phonemes in our language and we sort of unconsciously gravitate towards that? Because it sounds... To my ears, so very classy and clear and... Like a voice one would have to read the best kind of poetry. Something that really elevated deep, thoughtful writing, which a lot of classic Brazilian music aim go for. I dunno. A huge chunk our most historically acclaimed ones were def had a lower average pitch, and whenever a new one appears it def catches people's attention really fast. So if that's something you enjoy there's a whole buffet to choose.
