Capsaicin, the substance that makes peppers seem hot, is an oily substance. Oil and water do not mix. If you drink water after eating something that contains capsaicin, the water spreads the oily capsaicin around your mouth, reigniting the sensation of heat. Water is the absolute worst thing you could drink after eating a pepper.

@ForrestKritzer You think water is bad? I did a 6 million scolville challenge, then used a rum and coke to wash it down 20mins later! Fire was back!!! Lol
Swish raw sugar in your mouth then spit it out and then bite raw lemons. The sugar absorbs some of the capsaicin, and calms the heat, then the strong citric acid in the lemon emulsifies the oil to stop the reaction. Water, and dairy products do nothing. Water makes it worse and dairy is purely psychological. I work at Pepper Palace we sell a sauce that is about 12-15million scoville depending on the batch. It requires you to sign a legal medical release to test it in store.

Water is making it worse, because the capsaicine is fat soluble and water only moves it around, letting it hit more receptors.

@@220avgI had no idea you guys were gonna do this dang. If I did, I’d have told you about the anti gut bomb kit. It’s a must have for this challenge. The challenge is the spice, not the poop. So why not bypass the poop? In case you ever need it, it’s one serving of pepto bismal and a bowl of oatmeal 10 minutes before the chip. Hope that can help somehow I know I’m late. 😢
I did this with my dad and well the anti gut bomb kit worked the next day no spicy aftermath.
If you're eating spicy things, have sugar cubes handy. Sugar neutralizes the spice.

Forest, you two are crazy for this one. I have seen others do this and were in a lot more pain than either of you and you both did very well with the bowling, others couldn’t function after eating it. Both what the world really wants to know, what how was it later coming out? I have heard that could be more painful that eating it. 😂 😂😂😂😂. Ken

I have a video up of me doing the whole thing without drinking. I wasn't bowling that would be a good idea. The worst part was actually about an hour and a half later when it hit my stomach.

Dang son! Never thought I’d see this. I’ve tried this chip twice and I made it for the whole hour on my second go around. First time I only did 10 minutes I guess my mind got the better of me.
I believe this is indeed a very hot chip but to my knowledge, Jack’s Fiery Chip is the hottest there is. There may be one hotter but I am pretty sure Jack’s is hotter than one chip. One chip is still no joke though, there is no discrediting that.

Some guy just grew a Pepper X, it hotter than anyother pepper in the world currently
everytime I do that chip challenge... I feel fine... then like 30 mins after... I would get a knife sharp pain and then I would puke immediately after... its like a reaction to the capsacin in the chip.. They use extract and not pure pepper flakes. Thats how they get the chip that hot... its capsacin oil... and a lot of people have reactions to that extract. Mostly effects gal bladders... and if anyone has gallbladder stones... or doesnt know if they have them... eating this chip will help you find out!
The stomach pain is by far the worst part of the challenge
Did it feel like a sharp pain or a dull pain? Sharp pain would indicate a gallbladder stone... which I, unfortunately, found out I had from eating 2019's 2020's 2021's and 2022's in completely separate years(or as they were released). The first one didn't have that reaction of sharp pain... the second one didnt either... and then the third made me buckle over the pain was so bad... not from heat or anything... just felt like in a 2 second span... a sharp pain like a knife was jabbing my upper abdominal area. I ate the other one like an idiot thinking it was just 2 bad chips.. and the last one was the worst... was walking around and then I thought I was going to die the pain was so bad. Thats when I found out about the gall stones... crazy to think some spicy chip would cause so much pain... let alone kill a 13 year old child from eating it. Which is why it was discontinued with so much haste. Legal reasons and law suites which are likely impending. @@ForrestKritzer
I have eaten that chip before the spicy wasn’t the bad part ( I eat a lot of spicy stuff) but the stomach pains was worse for me. y’all should try to bowl a game with the toe of satan (hot sucker) great video!!

You guys should have waited like a half hour and tried to bowl with the stomach cramps. I’ve done 3 different ones and the stomach pain was way worse than the mouth burn. I don’t eat them them anymore. Finally learned my lesson lol
The stomach pain was HORRIBLE after. It hurt all through the next day too
@@ForrestKritzer oh yeah it’s terrible. I tried all kinds of stuff like making sure I ate before and using pepto before it didn’t matter. Then some RUclips channel said make sure you chew it up really really good and it won’t be so bad. It didn’t matter lol

For some reason, I knew you guys were going to drink water when you finally took a drink. As others have said, water is the absolute worst thing you can drink with spicy food. You want to drink milk or find something sweet, even a piece of candy. Believe it or not, eating a piece of bread helps a lot too.

I would have thrown that chip in the gutter. Congrats to both of you. My wife and I both ate 1 carolina reaper pepper each and we will never try it again. The heat dies down, but then a 2nd wave of heat hits and its painful all over again. I understand the pain.

In my opinion the stomach and gut pain from these things are far worse than the mouth. Literally feels like getting stabbed in the stomach. I think y'all did pretty well handling these chips:-)
