To the 8 people that remembered this series existed and were wondering why it took so long: The reason this video took so long to make was because Yes. After the KV episode I didn't really want to edit vids again because of how boring it was to trim down 3 hours of failing, and school. This vid was fine though because there was really only 45 min of real attempts and stuff actually happened. The final vid likely isn't going to come out for at least 2 months because it will take a while before I start editing it, I plan to really focus on speedrunning, and school. I don't plan on it taking another 5 months but no promises :)

In retrospect, I'm surprised the king vulture was harder for you than the red liz, it's the opposite for me. Though I guess I can't slide-stab him so consistently so that's probably a reason why, hehe. -Also I tend to lure vultures inside the bridge in chimney canopy so the little sh*ts don't escape-
Attempts wise it probably took more for the red liz. I found the red liz easier because I could do another attempt right away if I died. For the KV I would have to wait for one to show up so it took MUCH longer. So really I found the KV more frustrating, not harder.

When we the players are more aware of false poles and death traps than all the other organisms, that is when you know we've been -scarred- dedicated

the reason that cyan bit you is because its hungry, all tamed lizards do that if they havent eaten anything for a couple cycles, thats why i always keep my homeboys well fed

The red lizard constantly drops and bites its food a lot. This makes it more dangerous to the player cause you'll think its safe to approach or attack when its dragging stuff, like most lizards, and suddenly, snap, it got you. And it sort of fits with their manic personality, theyre programmed to keep moving always.
I was so excited to find this uploaded, keep up the good content! I'm glad the rain world community is still thriving

I got jumped in the flat outskirts room as hunter and realised I wasn't going to be fast enough to run to the exit. I managed to pull off a perfect slide spear and killed the red with just two spears. Felt so good

You know watching this and playing hunter for the first time are VERY different thing when I saw the red Liz for the first time I ran tried to stab it got scared ran and died and changed pants as well
i once befriended a cyan lizard that looks exactly like cyimon, i named my cyan lizard "arthur"
Good strategy i found out for red centipedes is to try and de armor both heads first, and also they're kinda whacky, you can stand still when they're chasing you and they just kinda umm... Do the same.
Also oh boy are the red lizard worse now, they just take your spear and snap it in half. I counter that by having the spear the opposite hand to the lizard, so a lizard coming from the left and then i have the spear on the right and vice versa, also i don't think you can pierce lizards head armor now once they're unconcious, as the head needs to be opened. (After some further fucking around im here to tell after a month that red lizards for some reason can be mouthspeared when unconcious from a mouthspear. Tbh i think it's extremely finnicky to get mouthspears because even if a lizards head is visually literally opened you can't go through, i found out spitting their tongue out and just getting inches from your death are the only two valid ways to go through the head)

I once killed a red after a noodle mom stabbed it a lot but then the lizard just turbo chomped it and i threw spears from like across the screen because i was a coward+ there was another spear and if i dropped down it would have escaped.
Red lizard are one of the few creatures that can ALSO do a whiplash which is funny to me

While it would be a lot less entertaining for a video, Red Lizards hate each other more than they want to eat you. So while they are fighting each other you could just chuck spears at one. Even if the kill doesn't go to you, the speared one almost always dies first and the other one is generally too wounded to win against you. It would make an easy kill. Red are only truly dangerous if there is only one of them.

I think in arena it is easier to kill a king vul than a red liz, but in the context of this challenge I found the red liz much easier than the king vul because I could instantly do another attempt. For king vul I had to get a king to actually show up and not flee which happened most of the time. My wording was dumb my bad.

red liz has more hp than dll???? thats insane i think red lizard is probably the strongest killable alone (cuz getting ganged on by scavs is even worse)
or they were just given the ability to tank explosive spears
@@kennethondrugs7379 Dlls have a weakness to explosive spears so great that 1 to the core is an instant kill they actually have an hp of 200. For reference a spear from monk is 0.6-0.9 damage, a spear from survivor is 1 damage, a spear from hunter , arti and spearmaster is 1.25 and gourmands unexhausted is 3 and 0.3 exhausted

On hunter mode(hard, the red slugcat) you can carry 2 spears

If you almost killed the red with the explosive spear why not just kill it then
I didnt want to cheese a fight with an explosive for an easy win. I used the spolder to severely damage one of the reds so it would stop interfering when I fight the other one.
