The rainbow is created by light bouncing off the firmament combined with water. That's why surprise! Its an arc shape, exactly like the dome shaped firmament! thats also why you cant recreate a rainbow indoors
The firmament is the dome that covers the flat earth. Above the firmament is water. The windows of heaven are in the firmament. They opened up to release the water during the flood. Read genesis
