I am stll trying to learn all this tech stuff and social media stuff...I think Ii was born a generation or two or seven, too soon ;) Pam :) !! So nice to hear form you! Pam :) !!

How appropriate that you are covering President Johnson's face with birds. His wife was known as Lady Bird Johnson. Working directly with Congress she strongly advocated for the beautification of our nation's highways and cities. When I go on trips and see the beautiful wildflowers lining our highways I always am thankful for what she did. Different stories are told as why she was called Lady Bird Johnson.
So I had never heard of junk journals until I ran across your channel in my feed about a week ago and I am amazed I was wondering what I was going to do with all those family heirlooms I have as I watch your tutorials I am imagining using all the letters and poems and drawings from my mother and my grandmother. OMG. I laughed so hard at your remarks about Johnson. I remember him from when I was little. I mainly remember that parents didn't like him at all. I wish my Mom was still alive and could see this video. I know that she would be laughing too. The envelope turned out awesome. I love it.

You're such fun to watch and listen to so, I subbed and hit the bell, too. I loved how you provided the exact measurements...I measured up a square piece of pkg to make into 2 tags and triple checked it. After cutting in 1/2, I placed one atop the other - one was wider, not that it mattered. I may as well just do a guesstimate, though. These are really sweet and a great way of using up all of those book pages and I will definitely be making some so, I've saved it as well. Thanks for making my cuppa even more enjoyable. Tfs

Hi Pam, I love your sense of humor! You had me busting at the seams!!! Lmao!!! I do the same thing at the Thrift Stores. I look for the biggest curtains , table cloth, extra large dress!!!!, etc...lol!!! tfs GOD Bless
We are a force to be reckoned with ;) God bless Marimar, Pam :) !!
Nice idea, tho' I think I would cover the whole inside page before putting on the lace and making the envelope. I was hoping you'd cover it somehow, as I couldn't imagine wanting to see LBJ's face staring at me everytime I opened the envelope! LOL
Lol, good idea! Pam :) !!
I love this, have just started doing these beautiful envelopes! Was so very beneficial watching this last night in bed (on husband's iPad), after being at the hospital (my mother had surgery and dismal news). Your videos always cheer me up, you're such a breath of fresh air. So cute project (as usual!). Have a nice weekend! /Ditte
Hi Ditte, my prayers and thoughts for you and mom. Sending you lots of love and light. :) Pam

p.s. I would have chosen to cover Lyndon B. too 😂
LOL thanks dear crafty one! :)
Tfs
Hi Leanda! Sp happy you joined our family! :) I love guesstimating! :)Pam :) !!

Happened upon your channel while doing a search for using envelopes in my JJ - and so happy I did! Love your sense of humor and your sense of style - and really like your name, too. 😁 Seriously, tho - this is so simple and really pretty with the lace. Thanks for advice and encouragement to "just do it!" New subbie.
Hello fellow Pamela! And a big welcome to the family! So happy to hear this! ;) Pam :) !!
I make these with fabric, but I never thought to use lace....Love this variation. I also love that you mentioned 'Chunky JJs'. I have yet to create a nonchuncky JJ.😂🤣
Hi Heather!! :) Chunky's unite! :) ! Pam :) !!
Yes, Vice President to John Fitzgerald Kennedy (President) who was assassinated in Dallas Texas in November 1963. Lyndon B Johnson became President immediately. It was a truly sad, historic day for the US citizens. I was in 3rd grade...still remember it. Assassin was Lee Harvey Oswald..
Thanks Dela! I grew up in Canada until 21 years old. Then moved to the USA. So my American history is a a bit lacking but I do find it very interesting :) Pam :) TFS!
