The storage with cargo netting is very flexible. Get some soft fabric baskets for your clothes. You can roll up your clothes and hide them away in the baskets. The netting keeps the baskets secure. They'd look beautiful in a color to complement the walls!
If you take your chicken and turkey out of the styrofoam and freeze them in a freezer safe Ziploc bag, it will be easier to get more things in the freezer.
Anthony, there is storage under each side of the bed also. Nice home. Also remember your tow weight includes weight you have in your van and whatever you add to your trailer including food, water, and dark/gray water. So still monitor your weight to prolong your transmission. Also buy you some bins to organize your stiff to keep it from rolling around in you cabinets

Congratulations! Be careful what you put in the pantry area above the stove once you're at camp. That steam will get to your dry items like pasta, rice, powdery type items, etc. Propane is also a wet heat. You're going to love it!! So excited for you! 🥳

Hey Anthony. Please remember the weight of the items your adding to the trailer. You don't want to add stress to your engine trying to pull the weight. From water to pots, clothes etc. Goes towards your pulling weight. My husband and I own a 28ft trailer. He's got me in the mindset of remembering the pulling weight. I believe they usually use the aluminum slat mini blinds in the kitchen due to the heat/fire source from the stove and all the splashes that can stain them. Both of my RV's had the same thing. By the way - CONGRATULATIONS, I love your new RV travel trailer!!!! I had to come back and say, it's such a joy to watch you unbag your groceries and to put your food and supplies away in your OWN home with a full on kitchen. I'm just excited for you and your new adventures that await!
Ive never seen this channel before today but this video made me smile! If i could offer some tips: make sure your sugar, flour etc. are in well sealed air tight containers to prevent critters getting into them. Get one or two clear hard plastic bins for food in the compartment over the stove and remove the net for ease of access. Clear will let you see what you have. Remove the nets over the couch and put your clothes in bins or baskets. You can match them and it will be neat and tidy! Enjoy!

Just a suggestion - bell peppers last longer in the fridge crisper and hotdogs don't need to waste your limited freezer space. They are good for at least 2 weeks in the fridge. Can't wait to see future cooking vids in your new digs!

Hi Anthony if you have a dollar tree near you get some locker bins or storage containers for your cabinets to help the items from moving or falling. Also get some nonslip drawer liners. Hope this helps.

I would have picked your unit from all you showed in your previous video. You definitely got the best one. I'd put clothes in the netting storage cubbies which wouldn't fall out because they'd fill up the space. I'd also get some 3M command hooks to put around to hang some things, like pot holders, kitchen towel, and often used items. I really like your new home Anthony.

Hey Anthony...the reason for the difference in the blinds...the blinds near the stove will be easier to clean, while the other blinds are made of cloth...also for safety reasons as well. You don't want cloth type shades near a stove. YAY...so happy for you and your new trailer.
Wow! You can use the frig in your minivan as a deep freezer and go to the store a LOT less often!! The fridge in the trailer and just use that small fridge for what you need for a couple days. The blinds over the stove are metal because the cloth ones are a fire hazard. You have so many options now with your minivan set up and your new travel trailer👍🏽
I think the old style blinds are in the cooking area because they will be easier to clean food or grease spatters off than the the other style blinds. LOVE your new home addition.❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, the metal like blinds are to reduce fires near the cooktop. I had a trailer trailer and thats what was told to me, because I wasn’t a fan it them, but I left them for that reason.
Congrats!!! You might want to make reflective black out covers for your windows to use when you don’t want anyone to know you are inside with lights on. I stayed overnight at rest stops, Pilot & Love’s gas stations, and Cracker Barrel and when I do, I use my black out window covers.

I’m so happy to see this upgrade❤ We all need a little space to move and breathe. We all have days when we don’t want to do anything and here you have everything you need. For sick days as well, this will make life more comfortable. A little tip: plan where everything is going to go in the fridge and freezer before you open the door. Then get everything in as fast as possible and close the door. The food lasts longer. Don’t keep opening and closing the fridge repeatedly. Someone gave me that tip and I have lived by it ever since😀

Love your Travel Trailer, Anthony! A suggestion if you’re worried about the cargo nets in the storage areas, get some wicker baskets that fit the space. They’re neutral, discreet, can add to the aesthetics and will stop things from toppling over the netting or shifting to much.
Great video Anthony, nice trailer. I agree, who cares how big the shower is, it’s a shower and a toilet!! No more midnight strolls. Being a longtime RV’r, can I suggest all the dry goods go in a baskets. Your large storage just inside the door will hold a lot if you get baskets or bins to keep things from rolling around. Nice to see you have fun!

@@fayesanders4092Agreed and will also protect the floors of the cabinets if something leaks. Those camper cabinets are not high-end. Gotta keep them lightweight so they are flimsy.
You might be able to make the shower larger in the future, by redesigning the kitchen top and moving the bathroom wall to gain say 6 to 8 inches. Would be a bit of work, but not impossible. Might cost a couple of grand to get a carpenter to assist, otherwise perhaps you could do it yourself and just spend on the materials. You might be able to get financial assistance to make the modifications. It might just mean you sacrifice some storage space under the kitchen sink area. one of those under kitchen sink cupboards might become a half cupboard for example. You have storage in other areas, so I think it could work. Another 8 inches in the shower could make a huge difference in terms of being able to turn around in the shower and reducing the shower splash.
SO excited for you!!! Yes, paper plates are expensive!!! My daughter is autistic and prefers them because she hates the scraping sound a fork makes against a regular plate. Now that she’s off at college, I stashed them away! They are so convenient and I really like having them easy to grab but not at these prices!! 😊
Nice setup there. I think the reason behind putting the pull blinds behind the stove is to prevent you from burning yourself if you have to pull it up or down because the pull strings are on the side vs the middle. In my house, I need to have the pull kind behind my couch, otherwise I'd have climb on the couch and reach over, behind and down to get to the bottom of the blinds. Same deal with behind my old kitchen sink.

Watching you put away your shopping for the first time, reminded me of when I moved in to my first apartment...so it put a big smile on my face. I like that you can leave the bed out AND that it is big enough roll around in. Best of all, you can answer the call of nature in a more safe and spacious setting. 🙂

Hey Anthony...the reason for the difference in the blinds...the blinds near the stove will be easier to clean, while the other blinds are made of cloth...also for safety reasons as well. You don't want cloth type shades near a stove. YAY...so happy for you and your new trailer.
Also you will want to put some sort of shield behind your stove so that your blinds aren't constantly splattered.
When the blinds are down, turn the blinds opposite of your usual way this way you still have privacy and are able to see any one walking by...

Wow! You can use the frig in your minivan as a deep freezer and go to the store a LOT less often!! The fridge in the trailer and just use that small fridge for what you need for a couple days. The blinds over the stove are metal because the cloth ones are a fire hazard. You have so many options now with your minivan set up and your new travel trailer👍🏽

I think the old style blinds are in the cooking area because they will be easier to clean food or grease spatters off than the the other style blinds. LOVE your new home addition.❤❤❤❤❤

Yes, the metal like blinds are to reduce fires near the cooktop. I had a trailer trailer and thats what was told to me, because I wasn’t a fan it them, but I left them for that reason.
Congrats!!! You might want to make reflective black out covers for your windows to use when you don’t want anyone to know you are inside with lights on. I stayed overnight at rest stops, Pilot & Love’s gas stations, and Cracker Barrel and when I do, I use my black out window covers.

The blinds over the stove should be non-flammable, the others are most likely paper or a paper blend, which is flammable. Good thinking on their part. I love your travel trailer. I’m so happy for you and our future adventures. 😊

I’m so happy to see this upgrade❤ We all need a little space to move and breathe. We all have days when we don’t want to do anything and here you have everything you need. For sick days as well, this will make life more comfortable.
A little tip: plan where everything is going to go in the fridge and freezer before you open the door. Then get everything in as fast as possible and close the door. The food lasts longer. Don’t keep opening and closing the fridge repeatedly. Someone gave me that tip and I have lived by it ever since😀

Love your Travel Trailer, Anthony! A suggestion if you’re worried about the cargo nets in the storage areas, get some wicker baskets that fit the space. They’re neutral, discreet, can add to the aesthetics and will stop things from toppling over the netting or shifting to much.
Great video Anthony, nice trailer. I agree, who cares how big the shower is, it’s a shower and a toilet!! No more midnight strolls. Being a longtime RV’r, can I suggest all the dry goods go in a baskets. Your large storage just inside the door will hold a lot if you get baskets or bins to keep things from rolling around. Nice to see you have fun!

You might be able to make the shower larger in the future, by redesigning the kitchen top and moving the bathroom wall to gain say 6 to 8 inches. Would be a bit of work, but not impossible. Might cost a couple of grand to get a carpenter to assist, otherwise perhaps you could do it yourself and just spend on the materials. You might be able to get financial assistance to make the modifications. It might just mean you sacrifice some storage space under the kitchen sink area. one of those under kitchen sink cupboards might become a half cupboard for example. You have storage in other areas, so I think it could work. Another 8 inches in the shower could make a huge difference in terms of being able to turn around in the shower and reducing the shower splash.
SO excited for you!!! Yes, paper plates are expensive!!! My daughter is autistic and prefers them because she hates the scraping sound a fork makes against a regular plate. Now that she’s off at college, I stashed them away! They are so convenient and I really like having them easy to grab but not at these prices!! 😊
Nice setup there. I think the reason behind putting the pull blinds behind the stove is to prevent you from burning yourself if you have to pull it up or down because the pull strings are on the side vs the middle. In my house, I need to have the pull kind behind my couch, otherwise I'd have climb on the couch and reach over, behind and down to get to the bottom of the blinds. Same deal with behind my old kitchen sink.
